Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 04 Jan 2020, 07:16

Good morning.

Sunny. 8-)

Off for a good stomp after a coffee. :D

Elsa is popping in at 11am and I'm giving her a listening mock exam. Her B2 exam is next weekend.

A wander into town this afternoon. One of our plazas is putting on a pantomime for the children as tomorrow is the Eve of Kings. The whole town will have activities and lots going on as the Spanish are cranked up for their Christmas.
I'll make sure I stay clear of the shops as they'll be heaving....after all, they'll be closed tomorrow and Monday.

Think a meal in the Thai restaurant is on the cards for tonight. ;) ;)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely and sunny this morning, no doubt the clouds will appear later and it will cool down. Winter woolies are now on

Slept in the new bedroom last night, very cosy and toasty 8-) It's a normal double size and we're used to a king sized bed.

Not doing a lot today, back much better, but still gives me a kick every now and then :x I'll take all the decs down and then take them down to the battery store. Grumpy can do the weed spraying, clean the fires and get the wood in.

Heading into Ourique this afternoon, The library opens at 2.00 this afternoon, so will take books back, hopefully get more then have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Keema curry and chips for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I'm glad your back is easier Jan. A Thai meal sounds just the job Ally.
A grey morning here but not too cold. In a while MrsC is off to see Eliza. She hasn't seen her for a week, what with being injured and having mild flu and a raw throat.
So I need a paper and then I might binge watch Inspector Morse!
I still think hibernation for humans should be explored!
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s not too bad a day here. We got up a bit late and are mooching around in tracksuits. We’re going to a ball tonight, really looking forward to it, dinner and lots of dancing with nice people :D I’m having a manicure this afternoon, last night I painted my toenails silver, not sure what colours I will be offered by the manicurist but hopefully something nice and sparkly to go with my sparkly dress (as seen over on the Boutique board). In the meantime, usual tidying around to do, Edward has just taken down the crib so that’s all the decorations packed away for another year.

Hibernation sounds good to me, Crommers! ;)

Morning all :)

B and I have been to FatFighters and it wasn't too bad, only a small gain each  Currently having a quick cuppa and brekkie in Corretto's before meet P and J from the train :D Really looking forward to seeing them :)

Good idea to give the shops a swerve Ally ;)

Jan, glad your back is improving :)

Happy to hear that MrsC is better Crommers! A Morseathon sounds a good plan ;)

Have a great time at the ball Osc :) You'll look lovely in your new frock :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all......almost

Nice and bright here today.

Glad your back's getting better Jan.
I agree about hibernation Crommers, I often think I should be a toroise.
Enjoy the ball Osc.
I'm staying away from the scales until next week Kaz

We've been really lazy and had a nice long lie in, only just having brekkie. Planning to start operation take the decs down. I hate to see them put away, the house always seems to echo without them.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Hello :D

It's been a day of dog walks, shopping, visiting and also chatting and catching up with Shannon as we hadn't seen her since mid-December.

We're off out to the cinema shortly to see The Gentlemen. Originally I'd booked tickets for me and John but yesterday morning, while walking Bill, I was thinking about Joe and the fact that Amanda was going back to Falmouth today after 3 weeks at home, so I quickly logged onto the Odeon app and saw that there was a seat available next to us (luckily, there were only a few left) and texted Joe to see if he wanted to come with us and he did. He'll miss her, in fact we all will. It's been lovely seeing her over Christmas. Having said that, he's off to Falmouth next weekend and they've got their holiday to look forward to as well plus she's home for a couple of weeks at Easter. Before they know it her first year will be done!

Enjoy the time with J and P, Kaz!

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone :)
