Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 15 Jan 2020, 07:08

Good morning.

Warm and sunny. 8-)

A quick run then back to very happily spend the day at home. I've not done that since last Wednesday.

Michele travels back to France today after being with dad since December 15th. He's only got 6 weeks then I'll be back over to see him. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and warm ish 8-)

Had some lovely rain last night and more is forecast for today. It hammered down so hard, we both woke up

Doing our normal run around in Ourique this morning, Unless it rains, then it's postponed

Grumpy needs more paintbrushes and I've persuaded him to paint the wood he did yesterday. rather than stain it. Think it will blend in better. Chinese for socks

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning both! I'm glad you're getting the much needed rain Jan. Ally, your dad is lucky to have such family. But I'm sure he knows that.
MrsC and her sis off to their dad's soon to do his shopping etc.
I am at a loose end but happy. :)
Have a good day all.

Morning all

Ally, agree with Crommers - your family is blessed to be so close; not many are. What mischief will your dad get up to until you get back that way :D
Crommers, hope the dad behaves; sadly not sure he is very appreciative of what everyone does for him; that must be so hard :( If you're at a loose end, feel free to pop over to mine for some cleaning if you want
Jan, excellent re the rain - how is the dam coming on; any fuller? In a way I do hope you get more rain, but equally hope it holds off so you can get your shopping done. What colour will you be painting the wood (remind me; is it for windows?)?

A usual usual today; yesterday was a bit of a rush to get home in time for the vet so this evening will be nice to be doing nothing. Tomorrow and Friday I'll be out so I always appreciate evenings in

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s bright and cold here. Off to the gym shortly and nothing much planned for the rest of the day. Got a phone call at 9am giving me an appointment for a CT scan next Tuesday, as a follow up from my hospital stay last month and before seeing the consultant again. Have to pay for it as it is not covered by our health insurance :? Edward is checking out my laptop as it has Windows 7 Premium, I rarely use it anyway and just need to save photos on to a memory stick, so I might do that this afternoon.

No idea re the dam Ria, not been that way for a long time - July I think

He'll be painting above the new windows, in what WM calls the ticket office and I call my outside kitchen. He's filled the top in, above the new windows, to stop the rain and wind coming in.

Sat out there again this morning, for breakfast.

We've had another shower, but also a lot of sun, it really is quite warm.

off to make a chilli for Grumpy's dinner.

Afternoon all :D

Very wet and miserable here

The wind was awful last night, wasn't sure what we'd wake up to, but everything seems to be okay.

No plans for today, definitely not going out weather.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good evening all, it's been a sunny day for a change.

We're off to the Odeon later to see 1917, it doesn't start until 9.30pm though (actually, it'll be more like 10pm by the time the trailers and ads have been shown) so we'll have time to walk Bill before we go.
