Morning Ally. When does it get light where you are? It's just before 8am here and it's still not light.
Eliza is here. Lee (son in law) will be down for her later after he has had a longer sleep.
MrsC and I may go for a coffee and bun this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Morning Ally, Crommers and everyone

Foggy start  Supposed to be sunny and warm

We had a lovely rain shower last night. Well, shower isn't really the word, torrents of it  That put another inch in the pool  and we sat outside, watching it    Always said we were bonkers

I had planned on attacking some of the weeds around the flower beds, but think the ground might just be too wet, so that means the dreaded larder ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all....guess what? It's raining

Housework is underway and I'm waiting for a break in the rain to walk Billy, he's not impressed that it's raining again.

Joe finishes work at lunchtime on Fridays so I've booked his eye test and contact lens check for this afternoon.

Tom started his new placement last week. He's been observing and taught his first lesson there yesterday. He said that the difference between this school and his first placement is shocking. The kids were well behaved but he said that they're having to be set much easier work because they're working at a lower level than at the other school, he said he'd noticed it while observing his mentor but it really hit home when he came to teach so he's having to rethink what he can do with them.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon all :D

Heavy rain overnight, but it's nice and bright now.

Bits and bobs and washing for me today. My ankle is particularly sore at the moment, need to rest it up ready for our train journey for E's appointment next week.

Hope you all have a good day :D

afternoon all - a dry day, not a drop of rain!!!! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Saundra, please promise though that should you ever do need help that you will accept it x
Jen, good idea resting that ankle - hope it feels better soon
Crommers, hope you got out for your coffee and bun. The mornings do seem to be taking their time with getting light; aren't they? I really don't like January very much because it is just such a long dull month.
Jan fab news you've had more rain; so happy for you all
Ally - you'll be at homework club now; hope it's fun and enjoy the tapas and beer laterx

Friday lunch today was Pizza Express - I could happily have an afternoon snooze now :D Nail appointment this evening so will be home a bit later than normal.

Have a lovely Friday afternoon all x

Afternoon all :)

Today started off lazy - raining yet again, and my throat was still a bit sore. That improved though, as the morning wore on, I'm feeling much better, so I got stuck into the housework, and have also sorted out my wardrobe - a job I've been putting off for a while

Ria, I agree about the mornings, but it's definitely staying lighter for longer in the afternoons 8-) :D January is a pain though, agreed

Hope your ankle is better in time Jen xxx

Good luck to Tom in his placement Jo :) xxx

Excellent news about the rain Jan :D

Saundra  :D xxx

Waves to Crommers, and Ally :D
