Best laid plans and all that

Having looked at the weather forecast for the week-end, there will probably be showers. So off we went to get some new wiper blades - ours are dire   Went to see Nelson and he got my strimmer sorted - new sparkplug - and then onto the Chinese for socks and a mop handle.

Pit stop for a coffee then I'm strimming :Hi: grumpy is washing the car.

And our nice neighbours house is now sold :D

Hope Mrs C gets that sorted easily Crommers.

Cloudy now, but warm.

I'm still waiting for an Amazon delivery Saundra, it's a CD though so should go through the letterbox.
We love Prime, not just for the deliveries but there's a lot of good TV to watch and then there's music too and you can also borrow books for the Kindle. I think it's excellent value.

Jo I only use prime when I get offered it free
I don't have music or want to see box set and stuff I don't exactly know what prime does exist of except free books
And I wouldn't know how to watch stuff it would all get a bit confusing I think

I'm not sure how to get Prime on the telly either....is there plenty to watch or is it similar to Netflix?

Well!!! I think someone up there has gone off me!!  All set to go and have a coffee date with my pal Jan who retired from work, plus our lady Optom this morning, then Jan rang me to say she's poorly and couldn't make it.....the other two who were meant to come dropped out yesterday and after Aquafit was cancelled along with the coffee/natter time yesterday, it feels like my two days off has gone all to pot! I faffed about for a bit this morning and then went out anyway.....turns out Tom was working nearby where I went so we met up and had a coffee together anyway - which was a nice surprise!! :D 8-)

Sunny now after a very misty start....Kaz please have a fab day tomorrow but be aware of the horrible weather caused by Storm Ciara....we have the little ones overnight tomorrow night so I won't sleep anyway but the strong winds and rain will certainly put paid to any I might have had!!!

We find plenty to watch Gal, a different selection to Netflix, and there are quite a number of very good programmes that have been made just for Prime. If you've got a smart TV then I'd imagine you'd find an app for it in the way you have a Netflix one.

I'm jiggered   8-) Did all of the strimming - took me a couple of hours, with three breaks for water. Straight into the shower, shedding clothes and grass as I went
