We'd had our tour, found the hospital and correct department and also found a small bar, so we sat and had a couple of beers before dinner. Had also found a rather good restaurant, close to the hotel.
Four Canadians were wandering around, looking lost and checking their phones for something, so muggins asked if we could help.
The restaurant they'd been recommended to eat in, didn't open Sunday night, so they were looking for somewhere else.
They came along with us They were great fun, rather loud and a little tiddly and we chatting about all sorts of things. I went through everything on the menu, so they ordered grilled chicken Grumpy had pork cheeks and I had wild boar tenderloin.
I explained about the wine, so they ordered 3 litres for three of them and "keep the beer coming" for the other. We stuck to our half litre
As soon as we left the restaurant, the slight wobble appeared on the women, but the men carted them off, with many thanks for a lovely evening.
Just glad we didn't tell them where we live, as they're heading down the IC1 tomorrow, to the Algarve
