Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 13 Feb 2020, 05:46

Morning everyone

Mild. Dark, but mild 8-) sunshine, clouds and maybe a shower forecast for today.

Don't you just hate it when you misread the clock? Thought it was 6.50, so got up

Ironing for me later, then curry making. Grumpy will check the car over as it's off on it's hollibobs later. Down to Ferragudo for a few days, to have a thorough check-up, service and mot.

Will make the dish I was supposed to make yesterday, for dinner. Got side-tracked and did favas instead

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Jan, I'd have gone back to bed! :D
Ally, enjoy the day
Cruiser, makes sense to reuse old frames Mrs C likes - the styles change so much every year don't they.
Saundra, staying in and dry and warm makes sense!

Rather damp and grey here as well - sooooo much water on the roads this morning when I was driving to my friends; one part of the road was covered from one side to the other - suspect the drains got blocked. It's drizzling again now and doesn't look like it's going to clear up any time soon. Will be interesting to see just how bad Storm Dennis is going to be.

Usual work day then meeting a friend for a quick drink (need to reconfirm that though) and then to my friends to let her dogs out and then home; hopefully not all too late.

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all :D

One minute bright sunshine, the next it's raining :?

Really enjoyed being back in the pool yesterday, but we were both absolutely drained when we got home. I remember feeling the same when we first started, it takes a couple of weeks to get used to it, think it's the heat.

Today it's the weekly shop, M&S then Tesco. Need to pop into 02 first, my phone contract finishes today. I don't think I'll bother with an upgrade, really like the phone I have, will probably go for a sim only deal this time.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all. Very damp here this morning. I have taken MrsC and her sister to their father's house and taken a microwave and tv to the recycling centre (tip!).
I need to get a paper now and some cash from the atm.
Planning ahead I need to decide whether to get Netflix or not. I've seen just about all the Sweeney and Poirot there is, my stock of Inspector Morse is dwindling and the TV the last few nights hasn't been outstanding.
First world problem!
Have a good day all.

Morning all (just!) It is quite bright here after lots of wind and rain last night. I was at the gym this morning for the stretch and flexibility class and made an appointment to get my eyebrows done at 2pm. Collecting Kellie from school at 1.30, then Michael will come here from school himself.

Afternoon everyone :)

Mick has the day off, so we took D to Sainsbury's, had lunch with her, then back here to get some housework done. He has tomorrow off too, which will be nice 8-) The weather is odd here too, one minute the sky is bright blue, the next it's black and we get showers!

I've just been watching a beautiful greenfinch feeding from our fat-ball feeder - it's a beautiful little thing!

No Pilates tonight, Steph is on holiday.

Love to all :) xx
