Good morning Ally,

It is bright and sunny but there is a cold winds. Going shopping. Want some fresh vegetables. Refuse to buy them wrapped in plastic. There are two stalls in the market where youcan still pick you own loose veg. Then back home for coffee and pootling

Have a ggood day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Foggy again   It will disappear around lunchtime and we'll have another lovely afternoon.

Weeding this morning, just for a change. The veggie plot is a little ragged around the edges, so that's todays job.

Gez coming up for a natter and tea sometime today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing

Good morning all, a recent heavy shower is clearing now and it looks a bit brighter out to sea. Edward set off walking in the rain to the golf club which surprised me. I’m going to the gym this morning and then to the cafe next door for lunch. We might go dancing tonight, or might not.

Good morning all (if I type fast I might get away without editing that :P )

It's sunny, windy and quite mild today. Bill's had a long walk and I'm finding that my torch is getting less use first thing, the mornings are definitely getting lighter. There's washing on the line so hopefully I can get that ironed later.

Joe's just called from Cornwall, asking for help. He was booking his and Amanda's Leeds festival tickets and with them being so expensive I think he was worried about messing it up so I talked him through it, page by Ticketmaster page  I was one step away from buying two myself  Should be good this year with Liam Gallagher headlining on the Sunday night, I'm slightly jealous! They're not camping though, they're going with the couple they went with last year and they've already booked an Air B&B, I think it's the same one that they stayed in last year.

Have a good day all!

Afternoon everyone :)

Mick has the day off again, so we're mooching out and about after a long life in :) The weather is on the change, the wind is getting up - Dennis is on its way! Just been speaking to a friend of Mick's who lives by the river, and is concerned about local flood warnings :? :cute: Hope it doesn't rain too much!

Enjoy the rest of your day :) xxx

Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Yesterday we got absolutely soaked doing the shopping, it absolutely bucketed it down  Can't remember the last time we got so wet. Tesco were doing a dozen red roses for £5 so we treated ourselves. E used to have flowers delivered for me, but it got so ridiculously expensive, this way we can enjoy them without feeling he's been ripped off

Today we've had a lovely long lie in. We've booked to go over to our local pub at 4pm for a very late lunch/early dinner. They're doing a special menu for Valentine's this evening, but we're just as happy with the normal menu, expect I'll have fish, chips and mushy peas, a real treat since my diabetes diagnosis.

Happy Valentine's Day
