Good morning Ally,
Dennis seems to be passing away. Had heavy rain and strong winds in the night and early morning. Sun is now trying to come out.

Justpootling today.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

A beautiful morning, a few clouds around, but going to be another lovely day 8-)

Bit of a late start after our visitors yesterday. Jan and Joquinha came up and drank most of our beer and wine  She'll have to take me shopping next week ;)

The plan is to finish off the weeding in the big flower beds this morning, If we do it together, seems so much quicker, rather than me doing it on my own - seems endless then

Will wander down and water the plants by the gates too.

BBQ later, pork loin and entremeadas (pork belly) with the hot white bean salad and some sort of potato dish.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing

Good morning all, it looks like we’re stuck in for the day again. It’s still windy, is pouring down and lots of local roads are flooded.

Shepherd’s Pie and Yorkshire puddings for lunch and I might make some Instant Pot rice pudding.

Tom’s at Shannon’s and is back tomorrow, it’s half term week, and Joe’s back from Cornwall tonight.

Have a good day all!

It might dry up Jo, you never know.
Daughter, Eliza and dog are here. Dinner at 1pm today.
The wind has dropped, the rain has stopped (poetry).
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, it is sunny here. We went for a walk but avoided the harbour as the wind is quite strong and cold, however in more sheltered spots there was actually warmth in the sun. Back home to slump in our chairs for the rest of the day as we were a bit late to bed last night. I’ll do some knitting and/or read my book and Edward will watch sport. DWTS Ireland tonight, plus Call the Midwife and Endeavour.

Afternoon all :D

Wet and miserable, but not nearly as windy as it was last night, hopefully the worst is done.

Not doing much today, roast chicken for dinner and strawberry blancmange with blackcurrant jelly for pud later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Still pretty stormy here! We've been out, regardless, to B&Q to get some spring planting - I had such a poor show with my bulbs last year that I'm going for ready sprouting this time :? Obviously, I'm not gardening in this weather, but I'm now ready for when Dennis beggars off ;)

Cottage pie with lots of veg for dinner later :D

Take care everyone :) xxx

In the last hour we have had black skies, sllet and hailstones. strong winds and now clear skies with sunshine.
So not going out as one minute we would be drowned, and then burnt to a cinder.
Is this what is known as climate change??
