Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 17 Feb 2020, 07:00

Good morning.

Gorgeous again with 23 degrees on the cards. 8-)

A nice long walk for me then back to happily chill out at home. I'm seriously tempted to have a dip in the pool. I might dangle my legs in. My friends who were over last week went swimming in their hotel pool so it can't be that bad. :P

I'm cooking tonight....Jamie's chicken tray bake. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

~There's a hug cloud over our house, but I can see blue in the distance  Another warm and sunny day forecast 8-)

Washing will be done and also more weeding. I'll hit the smaller beds later and might even attack the bank, by the pool. The ice plants need cutting back.

We took the cover off our pool the other day Ally, gave it a clean and the water was 17C - so we decided not to bother ;)

Chicken and mushroom pie tonight - I took the wrong chicken out of the freezer yesterday  so had to have a re-think

Hope the storm passed you all without damage.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both. I would love your temperatures right now. Not that we have had a severe winter cold wise, but the wind outside is bitter atm.
MrsC has gone on dad duty. When she gets back I will go and do a supermarket shop. Hopefully sainsbos will have some Yeo Rhubarb yoghurt in.
Tonight I'll pay my subs at the target shooting club and hopefully find out how my mate Ernie is, he's not been too well.
Have a great day all.

Hope your mate is ok Crommers. X

Jan....love the idea of your hug cloud. :D :D

We don't put a cover on our pool so it gets the sun all the time. I'm definitely going to dip my toes in at the very least.

Morning all, it’s dull but dry here. Edward has gone walking to the golf club. I am on the waiting list for my gym class, I was too late booking last week, but I’ll go anyway and do my own thing. I have a few things to do this afternoon, bring books back to the library, get Edward’s B12 prescription filled and book a show we want to go to later in the year plus (maybe ;) ) some dusting.

Good morning everybody,
Been to town for some shopping. Got a card to put through the letter box next door. We are having new neighbours. They came yesterday afternoon. We said hello as they were leaving.
Going to pick up mrs.e's new glasses. Then to Aldi this afternoon. This store is being shut for a week starting Wednesday for alterations. Then to Tesco for a new kettle and fruit. We like to choose our own, not pre-packed in plastic.
The sun is out but there is a chill wind.

Morning all :D

After a night of rain and wind, it's lovely bright and sunny right now. Anybody's guess if it will last.

We don't seem to have flooding here, having seen the photo's of other areas I'm truly thankful. So sorry for all the people affected.

Need to pop a prescription request in to the surgery and pick up a few bits from Tesco.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Drizzle has stopped the weeding :cute: But I've done most of them, so they can wait until tomorrow.

Will do the prep for dinner and then just laze the afternoon away :D

You know what Joan Rivers said about housework Osc. "In six month's time you've got to do it all again!".
