Good afternoon everybody,

We have had rain and strong winds. Have also had sunshine but still lots of grey skies.
Went shoppingthis morning and to the bank.
Knocked the rear view mirror off the windscreen yesterday. Sent emails to three local firms aswell as the main dealer.
Only one has replied. He cam at 2.00 p.m and has fitted the metal part to the windscreen. Said not to move the car for at least 48 hours.
He will be coming back on Thursdaymorning to refit the mirror. Worth the £25.00 he is charging.
Will have to miss going dancing tomorrow night.
Like meriad, our lawn is waterlog. Can see the grass through the water. Have tried to find a lawnmoer which will float!!
Have a good d ay everybody.

That's a good price Cruiser.
Osc, I'm the same as you. Once I start to look at old photos I can be there for hours.

Good afternoon all, it's finally stopped raining here  For now anyway.

It's been a busy weekend so I've cleaned the house from top to bottom today and done a huge load of ironing. I've been trawling the internet for hairstyles too. Mine's all one length, I've got a hair appointment on Saturday and I'm wondering whether to get some long layers cut into it so it's easier to look messed up, I don't like my hair looking too tidy

Right, off to print a postage label now to send some empty ink cartridges off for recycling.

Enjoy the rest of the day all xx

Has nobody else had any snow? Woke up to about 3" this morning, very wet but it sure messed up the morning commute!! Not for me, of course, but our estate is on a hilly bit, we are at the bottom....cue all the motorists sliding down and that's if they could get a grip to begin with! None of the main roads were clear, save for maybe the Mways but even then it was a tough job. All more or less gone now of course.

None here yet Gal, just rain rain rain and more rain. The M6 nearby was flooded with two lanes closed during rush hour this morning.
