Good morning.

Another gorgeous day. 8-) 8-)

A walk then back home to happily chill. :D

I've got last night's Masterchef on iPlayer to watch and a swim late afternoon will be done.

Part 2 of Flesh and Blood tonight. Imelda Staunton.

Have a great (pancake  ) day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey start to the day, although we're supposed to have sunshine. Not cold though.

And yet more gardening this morning and afternoon, once I've done the ironing. Just general tidy up. The small amount of sand left will be scattered somewhere and I'm rather pleased with how it's looking, the far side of the car-port. <We'll get some more plants in and it once the gravel is down, that's another area sorted :Hi:

Treating ourselves to dinner out tonight. Sao Silvestre or Mundial, we'll see which one is open.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning both. Enjoy your walk Ally and your meal out Jan. :)
We have taken the car for it's MOT and minor service this morning. We need two new tyres but the total bill is £240, which I'm more than happy with. I was thinking more than £300.
It has absolutely chucked it down this morning. The goldfinches are still coming for food and we need another feeder so we will be off to Pets at Home to get one when we get the car back.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Ally, I must catch up with that, sounds really good 8-)

You'll deserve that dinner out, Jan 8-) :)

Crommers, we've started seeing Greenfinches in our garden since we put out a new feeder - really beautiful! Good news on the tyres 8-)

We're off to a clinic in Bristol today, with B, as she's having a minor procedure done. Will post on the Health board. Mick's taken time off so he can drive us.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Ally, enjoy the day - sounds a lovely perfect chill day
Jan, agree - you'll deserve the dinner tonight. Will be nice for you to not have to worry about cooking / washing up.
Kaz, good luck to B - hope all goes well
Crommers, for a change no rain here today (yet). We had a lovely clear morning but it's now clouding over and rain showers are expected in the course of the afternoon, and 0 degrees overnight.

A usual / usual for me; looking forward to a quiet evening in. Was out at a friends for dinner last night; never a good idea on a Monday night but hopefully a nice early night tonight

have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning all, it's quite sunny here (although clouding over by the minute) and cold, the wind has dropped finally though. Rain and snow are forecast for later :?

I've been into town and decided to get the bus home as it was so cold and I had some heavy shopping. There was a bus to Stafford which comes along the A34 already in the stop when I got there, unfortunately it had broken down so wasn't going anywhere. The next bus came, same service, and that also needed some attention. There were loads of students needing to get into Stafford for college, and were obviously late. Thankfully the next one in was a service which terminates in our village, and didn't have any mechanical issues, so I was able to get that. I'd almost decided to go to Stafford this morning so I'm glad I changed my mind and just went to Cannock, otherwise I'd have been waiting a long time at the stop down the road.

Have a good day all xx

Morning all......well almost

Bright and sunny here at the moment 8-)

Good luck to B Kaz.

Just seen on the news about the hotel in Tenerife on lock down because a doctor from Italy has been diagnosed. As this goes on I can see travel becoming quite difficult.

I have my annual diabetic eye screening this afternoon. We have to go by taxi as I'm likely to need drops so won't be able to drive for a few hours afterwards. A tad nervous as they found background retinopathy last time, just hoping it hasn't got any worse.

Hope you all have a good day :D
