I think you are right Saundra. Travel agents will be sweating because the virus is definitely going to affect bookings.

Hope all goes well Jen x

Change of plan here, we're both jiggered and we also remembered that it's carnival, so all the restaurants will be rammed. We'll go another time.

Easy dinner of omelette and chips - not quite black pork loin, but easy to do

Afternoon all, I went off shopping this morning, I had quite a long list for Boots and bag full of stuff for the TK Maxx charity box. Got everything I needed and been doing nothing very much since I got home.

I think it's already having an impact Crommers. Over the last week or so I've noticed cruise lines offering ever bigger discounts. Tbh it's the last type of holiday I'd want to book right now. As for the Canaries, I'm betting their bookings will be well down too. One of the coffee ladies posted on Fb this morning, she's in Tenerife just round the corner from the hotel in lock down and just wants to come home now.

We're back! We dropped B at the clinic, waited a while until the receptionist said she would be a few hours, so we wandered out and found a nearby Costa, then went across the road to a museum that had a fab sculpture exhibition on, called Being Human. Got so engrossed that time flew until B rang us to say she was ready.

Jen, I hope all went well for you too :)

Thanks everyone for your good wishes xxx
