Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 01 Mar 2020, 06:45

Good morning.

How is it March already?!

I'm here at dad's and sis is here too. Michele flew in on Friday and I got here lunchtime yesterday. Seeing sis waiting for me at arrivals was just brilliant. :D

Sitting on the runway before take off the pilot told us it was 26 degrees and to expect a bumpy ride over the UK due to storm Jorge. Apart from some turbulence the last 20 minutes the flight was fine. On arrival the pilot told us it was 2 degrees.
It's windy this morning but being a true Scot I'd just say it was bracing.

Today dad, sis and I are going to be the 3 Musketeers. :D

Have a good one. X

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

The sun is out but still breezy. Had more rain last night. Should have gone dancing last night but mrs.e did not want me to drive in the bad weather.

Have a good day every body

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Overcast this morning and we're expecting more rain :Hi: Had about 3 hours worth yesterday :Hi: But it's not cold 8-)

Off to Jan and Joquinha's this morning, for Grumpy to work his magic on some of their doors which are sticking.

As we were expecting our guests this afternoon, not yesterday, the rest of the day is our own 8-)

Roast chicken for dinner, which veg from our garden :Hi:

Have a lovely time with your dad and sister Ally xx

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's sunny here.

John's gone out for a bike ride, his first one for quite a few weeks seeing as the weather hasn't been on his side, and he's gone out on his road bike around the lanes rather than taking his mountain bike on the muddy Chase.
I've hoovered through, changed Tom and Joe's beds and the bedding is now blowing around on the line and yesterday's washing has been ironed.

I think we're going into Stafford this afternoon for a walk around, we'll pop into the dog friendly Coffee#1 while we're there.

Enjoy your time in Scotland Al, I hope your Dad's doing well xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it is bright and breezy here for the moment. My snuffly cold is now full blown streaming  I didn’t even bother putting on makeup today, as yesterday it all got wiped away with tissues. I slept really badly last night, so I suspect a snooze in the chair will happen at some stage :D

Hi all - been a lovely sunny day mostly but boy that wind!!!!

We had a long lie in and then decided to go up to the caravan to open it up and check all was well. D and J had done a fine job of closing it all up back in November, we put the cushions back on the sofas, cleaned round the sink and found we needed a new gas bottle, so hooked the newest one up for them going next weekend. We stopped off halfway there for a hot drink and a scone, and then again en route home but this time I had a large G&T and a slice of lemon pie - lovely! Got home about half four, I have a chicken in the oven myself and some veg prepped - we'll eat about 7.

Oh dear, no good to hear of people with colds.....get well soon xx

Kaz enjoy your Zumba thing! :D

Ally I can imagine the temp difference being a shock to your system after such heat at home!! Have a great time despite the cold! 8-)
