Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 05 Mar 2020, 06:08

Morning everyone

Mild but dark still. Not as warm later today than it has been, but as long as we don't get that north wind, we'll be fine.

Ironing for me later, then curry making and then sitting on my cushion and weeding more of the drive. Although I've sprayed the weeds a couple of times, some of them are being rather stubborn, so out they come

Breakfast this morning consists of cured sheeps cheese, black pork loin, some rather good bread, tomato, olive oil and a glass of port for Grumpy 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing x

Good morning Jan, morning everyone.

Sunny and 24 degrees forecast....our winter lasted 5 minutes and with not alot of rain. :? The one big deluge we had back in January was hopefully enough to keep the reservoirs topped up. But this happens every year....

Usual 2 classes this morning then after my coffee and pitufo it's back to start writing my reports. The ink is still wet on my last lot!

Classes 4 - 7 then meeting Don for pre-weekend beers and we're going to the Italian restaurant where they do the most divine cheesy garlic bread and uber cheesy lasagne.

Have a great day.

Might be a change of plan here  it's mizzley now, can't see the Algarve hills. Ah well, there's always tomorrow - can't see the weeds going on holiday

Jan - breakfast of champions, that! Enjoy the 24c Ally. Cruiser we don't have sun yet but the mist is slowly clearing.
Off to FiL's shortly, minding Eliza this afternoon.

Morning all, another beautiful day here. William and Kate seemed to enjoy their walk on our cliff path yesterday and were made very welcome by local people - they seem such a nice couple. Gym for me this morning. Usually I collect Kellie from school at 1.30 but she is going to play with a friend today after school and I’ll collect her from the friend’s house at 3.30. Michael’s tennis was cancelled yesterday because of traffic concerns due to the Royal visit, so he is going today and I will pick him up at 4.45pm. So busy busy!! Also we need to look up flight options when going on our cruise at the end of April as we were booked to and from Southampton with Flybe :? but we’ll wait till this evening to do that.

Good morning all, it's a dull one here and it's quite cold and breezy again.

I've walked Bill, he's certainly making up for lost time, or walks, now that we've found a relatively mud-free route. We've walked 4 miles this morning and he came home with just a couple of splashes on him, it certainly beats walking him on his lead around the village.
I'm now debating whether to put the washing out to dry. I did two loads yesterday morning as we were forecast just a chance of rain between 3pm and 4pm according to the BBC app. It actually rained non-stop from 12 until gone 4. Today the BBC app is saying no rain yet BBC local radio are forecasting showers

I hope you can sort something out easily for your flight Rosie xx

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Absolutely persisting down here

Just heard on the news about Flybe, hope you get some flights organised Osc.

Glad we did the big shop yesterday. We still plan to pop over to M&S for a few bits, but looking out of the window we won't be hanging around too long.............methinks we'll come home like a couple of drowned rats!!!

Hope you all have a good day :D
