Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 07 Mar 2020, 05:46

Good morning.

Another gorgeous day. 8-) 8-)

I realised late last night I hadn't posted yesterday.

A run first then back to watch my second favourite Brummie on Saturday Kitchen. It's a year tomorrow I met said second favourite Brummie at the Blues Villa footy Derby. He was lovely. :D :D

Conor stopped over last night and doing so again tonight as Lucia has gone to Jerez with her mum, dad & sister for the weekend.

Us 3 are going to Gambrinus for lunch. It's right by the duck park and is great for sitting outside watching the world go by. :D

This evening we're off to to a BBQ for a friend's birthday. Conor will come too then he's off into Malaga with some friends.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny start to the day and not too much wind either 8-)

Fun and games this morning  There's been a stray tom cat around for the last week or so and he decided, at 5.00 this morning, to have a go at Molly, cornered her in the new room, by the washing machine. The noise woke me up  As soon as I put the outside light on, he legged it  Got molly in, went back to bed. He then decided to howl, walking around the house. Molly wanted to go back out, I didn't want her too, she was tiny, compared to the bruiser, so off I went, with a spray bottle of cleaning stuff and a stick  He ran off after a while and we went back to sleep. Molly is still asleep.

Cleaning for me this morning and I'll do a little weeding later.

We're meeting friends down at the bar later and going to their house for a bbq :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing x

Moggy wars! the stray tom doesn't realise who he's taking on! Enjoy your bbq's Ally and Jan.
mrsC to her dad's shortly. I need to get the papers and a few bits. Sergio has made us some pizza! His pasta is good but his pizzas are even better. :D
That's us sorted for food tonight.
Nicola next door's sister is visiting. She has a huge hound which is actually friendy, but it bays.
Every time I hear it I remember the line "Mr Holmes, they were the paw prints of a gigantic hound!". If there is anybody down this road called Baskerville they must be bricking it.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)

Ally, that all sounds wonderful, have a great time 8-) :)

Jan, poor little Molly, but as Crommers says that tom doesn't realise who he's messing with :cute:

Crommers, that really made me giggle

Well, I'm a bit chuffed off, to be honest! Just been to the SW meeting, and bearing in mind I've done 3 hours of Zumba, a Pilates, and a day and a half of eating almost nothing, thanks to the gastroscopy, I only lost a measly half pound! I think I will need a leg off to lose the last six pounds to my target. I want to get there before Dan and Nikki's wedding at the end of April  Oh well, my outfit fits already, so it's not crucial. On a brilliant note, it looks like B is going to be Slimmer Of The Year at our group! :D It's to be announced next week, Michelle asked me for some before and after pictures of B, and has heavily hinted - and asked menot to let slip to B :D She really deserves this, so I'm thrilled for her :Hi:

Currently waiting for Mick in Corretto's as he's nipped to Specsavers for his new glasses. They messed up his prescription last week, then tried to charge him extra for the privilege  Needless to say he'll be changing opticians next time  ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all, it is a dull day here but dry at least. Edward has gone off for a walk, and I have been catching up on some bits and pieces around the house. At 1pm I have an appointment for a nice treat - a pedicure and manicure at the new nail bar just beside us. They have proper pedicure chairs, it has been a long time (maybe 10 years) since I had a pedicure so I am looking forward to it. As they currently have 30% off as an offer for their first month, I decided to have a manicure as well :cute: No plans for the rest of the day.

Oh, really done well to B :Hi: :Hi:

Change of plan here

Grumpy decided, knowing Saturday is normal cleaning day. to clean and then paint the inside window reveals :cute: :cute: I managed to get the bathroom done, but that was it, I headed outside  The wind is gusting, so a bit chilly, but the flower beds look better for a little tidy up.

Molly is getting in my way though

Morning all :D

No sunshine, but it's lovely and dry.

Blimey Jan, moggy wars indeed
Crommers you're so lucky to have Sergio as a neighbour..........don't suppose he fancies moving to live by the seaside ;)
Kaz well done to B, she definitely deserves it.

Friday is market day here so it's usually busy and bustling, but yesterday it was really quiet. The only place with a queue was Boots pharmacy counter, I've never seen it so long. E went and got a few bits while I waited, luckily they had all our meds so we weren't in town for too long.

Not much planned for today, the bedding is in the wash and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all.

It's quite a nice day, but we're not going out. We are cutting down on unnecessary outings, for fear of catching something .
So it's shopping at the local stores and TV watching for the rest of the day. Makes a change!

Hope you are all O.K.
