Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 09 Mar 2020, 06:21

Good morning.

As I type at 7.15am it's reading 17 degrees so another warm day on the cards. 8-)

A good stompette first then back to pootle.

I need to put dad and I's boarding passes on my phone app. I also need to have a think re my summer plans now as David told me late last night he'd just been informed our Kilimanjaro has been deferred!! :o :o

He's coming round late morning for a coffee and a chat.

I've got a few other bits to do and a swim late afternoon.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and windy but we're supposed to be sunny and warm

Think that is understandable Ally, even though it's annoying for you, with all the training you've been doing. Hope you can sort it out x

Off to Ourique after breakfast, need money to pay Denny, who is coming sometime this week to put in the mozzie screen and door, and Grumpy needs more silicone, to finish off the windows. Pit stop at the bar on the way back.

If the sun does come out, I'll slap on the suncream, a hat and grab my trusty cushions and carry on weeding

Bbq later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

TBH Jan I'm not too bothered about the trip being deferred . Although I exercise every day due to David's crazy work schedule we haven't been getting many mountain climbs in so it's no bad thing.

I'm going to juggle different flights and visits for the summer now as it means I can have much longer at dad's. :D :D

Not new windows Saundra, just cleaning off the old rubbish around them and re-doing the silicone. Must admit, they look new now ;) :D

The clouds have gone, it's a gloriously sunny morning 8-)

Morning all :D

Nice, dry and bright here.

Not a lot happening here, we need fruit and veg so plan to pop over to the small Tesco. Will be interesting to see if they've been invaded by the panic buyers......

Hope you all have a good day :D

A major electricity outage down here has affected one side of the town's main High Street, closing both banks (and ATM's), the pharmacy and the travel agents amongst others.
Luckily, the bagette bar is on the other side of the road ….
