Aldi had put the price up Jen?? If so, that's terrible.

I've just had my Tesco delivery. The fella said that they've been given a load of carrier bags in case they have to deliver to someone who is quarantined, then they have to unpack everything into the bags and leave it on the path outside the house, a safe distance away. I asked how they know if someone is quarantined and he said that they don't, they're just having to hope that people will be honest and put a note on the door.

Jen, the lady in lloyd's chemist in our village said that before they ran out of hand sanitisers their shop had almost doubled the price.
Why stock up on toilet roll when you have to self isolate for just a fortnight? Aldi in Featherstone had lots this morning according to MrsC. Sainsbury's were almost out but did have some. Weirdly, I have seen people buying lots of tinned fruit?
MrsC has broadened her repertoire now to being a human cushion, as her dad fell on her on Monday while she was helping him down the garden steps at his relative's house in Streethouse. She had to get her Uncle Jimmy out of the house to get him up again.
It's not a bad day here now, sunny and breezy but no rain.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

Afternoon all :)

It's a beautiful spring-like day here, I've even got a few bits of washing on the line 8-) Been up to my usual Wednesday stuff, met my friend J in town for a quick cuppa, then lunch with D, while watching the Budget :?

It's disgraceful how some people are profiteering from the virus - apparently the sanitizer if for sale on EBay for ridiculous amounts of money :|

Ria, Mick likes working from home, every cloud..... ;)

Good luck, Osc xxx

Crommers, I hope MrsC wasn't hurt?

Love to all xxx

She was a bit bruised Kaz but OK x. she said she'd never seen her Uncle Jim laugh so much. When her dad was in their sitting room a couple of weeks since he fell on his brother Jud's lap when Jud was in the armchair.

As my first mother-in-law (a Sheffield-born lady who lived in Bradford) would have said "comic cuts!" ;) :) (((x)))

Tom’s trip tomorrow to Germany to visit Belsen has been cancelled, I’m a mix of disappointed for him yet relieved.
Having said that, he had to travel by train to Manchester for a seminar about it on Sunday and there was no dodging germs on the train - he sent a pic of the inside of the toilet, the only place left with any standing room and eight of them were crammed in there.
