There have been reports of some very aggressive cold callers out and about this week just across the border in Somerset. They are posing as Government grant loft insulation people and demanding access to your house to inspect. It's been reported to the police.

Some local businesses are offering to deliver food, but they are all well known.
Neighbour Sergio saw two women fighting in Sainsbury's yesterday.

My Tesco order has been. I suppose the fairest thing to say is that it could've been worse.

The only 'person' though in the family whose 'order' wasn't affected by out of stocks was Bill, and his Jumbones were 3 for £3 so if all fails, we can have Jumbone and chips

Saundra, I got the fresh veg that I ordered so we're okay for that, hopefully the situation will be the same with your Morrisons order.
Joe likes the vegetarian 'meats' though and takes some with pasta or rice in sauces for his work lunch everyday but that was all out of stock.

And Ready Brek! Every morning I have that for my breakfast and that was out of stock too.

OK, so not long back from shopping. There was plentiful fruit and veg, lots of fresh fish and meat, apart from chicken - I got the last fresh chicken off the shelf, for this weekend! Lots of milk, cheese, butter, even ready meals. No baked beans or tinned tomatoes (I didn't need them anyway) not a single loo roll, kitchen roll or box of tissues to be had - we're ok for those. No dried pasta, very little rice. Plenty of bread, freshly baked and packaged, but the freezer section was vastly depleted. Oh and very few eggs! :cute:

Jo, I was so glad I bought the pups' food at the weekend, as there wasn't any of their usual brand - Pooch&Mutt :?
