Good morning all. Bright but rather windy today.

Good to see you're back home and able to post, Osc. Every best wish for your recovery.

Hope Mick took the opportunity to ask for a rise, Kaz. :cute:

Master O phoned this a.m., said he has developed a hacking cough and his workplace (St Thomas's Hospital) had sent him home and told him to self-isolate for 7 days; also DiL has been told she must also now self-isolate herself for 14 days.

Lovely the see you Osc, take good care of yourself.
Saundra, well done with the order.
Bright and breezy here today. We have been to a butcher's in Pontefract for a joint of beef and for MrsC to go to her dad's bank and arrange a change in the payments to his carers. We are trying to avoid the supermarkets if possible.
There were people milling about outside our local chemist this morning. apparently some people have been shouting at the staff so the pharmacist is only letting three people at a time in. Well done.
I had a wry smile at one website. The Mayor of Baltimore in the USA has appealed for an end to gang violence as hospital beds are going to be needed for virus patients.
Baltimore is a very violent place. As of a couple of days ago there had been 64 people murdered there so far this year. That's without any other violent crime.
The Mayor's appeal led to one local wag creating a fake news item which went:-
12:00 pm - Coronavius in Baltimore.
12.02 pm - Coronavirus shot.

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast here.

Ocs it's lovely to see you, just be sure to take it nice and easy xx
Glad you managed to get an online order Saundra.
Hope Master O is soon feeling a lot better Ossie.

Our trip to M&S was a waste of time yesterday, apparently all the chicken, meat, fresh vegetables etc was gone by 9am!!! The earliest I could get an online delivery slot is 6th April, we won't starve, but we will miss our fresh fruit and veg. Not the end of the world, I'm sure people with big families will find it more difficult. Sainsbury have said they are arranging priority delivery slots for over 70's and will contact us soon. Will be interesting to see if that actually works, I'm sure some people will find a way round it :?

E walked round for the papers as usual this morning, but we are trying to set up home delivery. Our local shop can't cope with more deliveries so I'm looking elsewhere. I know not having my paper every day isn't the end of the world, but I would miss it, especially now if we are confined to the house.

Busy with the weekly wash, isn't it funny how we stick to our routines, of course I could do it any day, but old habits die hard

Have a good day and stay safe xx

Glad to see you up and about Osc, take it easy xx

Crommers

Our chemist will only let four people in at a time and there is a line to stand behind. I had to tell one Dutch tourist what she should do yesterday :cute: In fact, I was quite forceful ;)

Hope Mr O is okay Ossie xx
