Just to let you know I'm O.K.

We're staying in our apartment to keep isolated, and hoping for a delivery of food today.

Hope you are all O.K. too.

Hello Aggers, I've been wondering how you were. Glad to hear you're well.
Atm I'm sitting in Sainsbury's car park waiting for MrsC. The drive in was like going back in time thirty odd years. Way less traffic about. The car park is far less busy too

Morning all :D

Another bright and sunny day 8-)

I have to be really ill to lose my appetite  Luckily since the diabetes we don't have any nibbles in the house or I'd end up as big as a bus
Well done to your postie Saundra.
Glad to hear you're staying safe Aggers.
Hope H and Osc continue to feel much better xx

We're expecting a Sainsbury delivery between 1-2pm. They always send a message to let you know what's not available, there's only a few items and nothing we can't manage without for a week or two. Most important is the fresh stuff and that appears to be okay, fingers crossed.

Not much else happening, might potter in the garden or go for a walk later.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Morning all, it is overcast here but the sun is making an effort. Edward will be going out shortly to take Michael and Kellie for a walk and I plan on a shorter walk down on the pier. I will do a little ironing later. Yesterday we had two victories - I finally managed to submit an online claim for our cancelled Budapest trip, I was trying on the iPad and could make no progress, so yesterday I used the laptop and got it done. Now I have a claim number so it’s in the system. Then - joy was unconfined when we got a grocery delivery slot for 4th April  and we have submitted an order. Miss Osc will include us in hers this weekend and hopefully it can be one thing less for her to worry about afterwards. She is just so stressed about everything.

Decided just before lunch to take my life in my hands and walk up to the One Stop Shop to see if they had any fresh stuff. They have marked up a one-way system round the aisles and squares to keep you 2 metres apart, but yes, there was still one cretin (male) who insisted in going the wrong way round and so walked past me. I turned my back on him. Idiot!
Got a bag of carrots, a bag of tomatoes, 6 peppers and a loaf. Even that feels like a small victory ….

Good afternoon everybody.

Went to Tesco this morning at 8.30 a.m.
Have madethe car park one way. Erected barriers for pedestrians so there is a single file to the entrance. Only letting one in as one customer comes out. Good job it has not been raining.
Had to wait about 15 minutes before we were allowed in. Some empty shelves. Still toilet rolls, tissues and hand wash. We have got enough food for at least a wek apart from milk and bread.
Also filled up with petrol. Not allowed into the kiosk, did it through the window. Just over £1.00 a litre. I can remember when it went uo to £1.00 a gallon!!
Been in the garden again this afternoon. Had strict instructions from mrs.e to put lots of suncream on.
Saundra, We have a presure washer. Have an attachment which has nozzles on the end of rotating arms. Much quicker than just the nozzle. Will do the back tomorrow.
Had phone calls from two friends asking if we are OK and a young lady at the bottom of the crescent has also asked if we want any shopping.
Will walk to the chemist tomorrow morning. THey were out of stock of one item for mrs.e when I went yesterday.
Have a good day everybody.

Osc, PLEASE don't see your grandchildren until this is over! I am very concerned that you have just had an operation and Edward is going to take the children for a walk, you do need to keep away. It's so hard I know, but so very necessary (((((((((((()))))))))

Evening all - another fab day, sunshine wise. We were rudely awoken by the racket going on outside re digging up the road/tarmacking the bit they dug up, the house literally shook!! After this I have just been cleaning, the house will be like a new pin soon!! Got a nice surprise this afternoon, D brought the kids to the window and we talked to them through the window, so hard not to be able to give them a hug though!!! :( Tom's cough is much improved thanks to the ABs, I didn't sleep well as my legs ached lots, no reason why they should, it's not like I've used them more!

Short dog walk around 4 and then just reading and crosswording. I don't think Tom has moved from the couch all day!!

I'm another whose appetite goes when I'm stressed, but up to now I have been eating almost normally. To fill time I have even been baking  , yesterday a lemon drizzle which is absolutely gorgeous!!
