Put the glass down and go to bed.

Do most of us really care who takes over when Liz goes? No we do not. Ears Charlie, Bald Wills, Ginge? No, we could not care less. Most of us pretend to be supportive, but in reality we could not care less.

What happens happens. I don't wish any of them dead. The greatest crisis the monarchy faced in modern times is when Diana was killed; they certainly weren't popular then but they are still here.

[quote="Suff"]Yes, because we really do need a constitutional crisis in the royalty to add on top of all the rest.

There are exceptions and these are two of them. One of them picked it up doing his royal duties which are a matter of state, just like the PM. The other has been moved, against her own preference, to protect the crown and the succession.

Until we don't have a Monarchy this is only sense.[/quote

Hear, hear! This country is destabilised enough with Brexit and this virus - losing either HM or Charlie would put the tin lid on it, at the moment. Whether you like them or not, we don't need that.

Wm, I wasn't drinking, it is not compatible with three browsers open, searching for hotels and WhatsApp Web on the pc so that I could text my son in real time. This was when they arrived at the city and could not get a hotel.

One of the hotels had removed UK and US passports from the list so you could not book the rooms online. Expedia would have taken my money though.

Just as well I have 3 monitors on my PC.

Because we're all supposed to respect their right to break the laws of the land.

Or something like it. Never understood it. But we have to be good and compassionate even if most of them are not.

I still feel that putting them back the the jumping off point where they paid thousands to the traffickers 8s the only way. If the country is difficult a hercukese, parachute and static line drop is an option. Once they are back on the ground there is no more argument.

Nothing more dispiriting than watching people you thought "lucky" enough to buy their way to the UK, falling from the skies and back to square 1.

I'm struggling to get my son out of Argentina because he doesn't have the correct pieces of paper. Illegal migrants do not endear me.

God bless them for their sacrifices to save their subjects. How would the 66 million of us survive without them?

Please BBC, do tell us.

What's he doing in Scotland?? thought he was the Prince of Wales????

Pardon me but when there is a NATIONAL crisis there should be no exceptions - none.

But what do we get? We get special treatment for the monarchy and for MPs. Have they been sent home on 80% of the median wage? Of course not because they are "working from home", yeah, right. "Home" should be where their constituents are so that they are on hand to serve them in this time of crisis, not some taxpayer funded pad in London. I wonder how many are actually living in their constituencies at present, that is assuming they can find them on satnav.

"At the roundabout take the first exit and drive North for 200 miles"
"You are freaking kidding me! Driver, ignore the satnav and take me home. Stop at Fortnum's on the way, I'll phone my order through for you to collect."
