Morning Ally, morning everyone

Foggy start, but once that clears, we're supposed to have a sunny and warm day 8-)

Washing machine will therefore be on - not been able to do any all week, because of the rain.

Jose Felipe will be here later bringing eggs and Jan will be up with bangers and cheese. We'll do it properly and stand a long way from each other and leave the money on the table.

Should finish off that infernal jigsaw today and then we can start an even bigger one

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning both :) Morning all :)

Reading and swimming sound good to me, Ally :D xxx

Hope you get your sunny day Jan :D I've never had the patience for jigsaws ;) xxx

It's time for me to do a big Sainsbury's shop for both us and D. I might walk up there and then get Mick to collect me - saves him waiting ages in the car. Otherwise no plans, the supermarket will be the highlight of my day  :P

Love to all xxxx

Hello all.
Eliza is here. I suppose she shouldn't be really but our daughter and son in law are both essential workers and they need child care so what do you do?
Saundra wasn't around yesterday, I hope she's OK.
Grey and dull here.
I may install the houseparty app later on, nothing on apart from that. Both the wine and the fish man turned up yesterday. :)
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny one here and is quite mild.

I’ve walked Bill, it was quite an upsetting walk actually. We got to one point in the woods where there’s a little crossroads in the paths and a Bassett appeared and blocked our way. Normally it wouldn’t have bothered me but the general advice at the moment is not to let dogs approach each other or you so I got Bill on his lead and stood about 10ft away, waiting for an owner to appear. It took a minute or two and eventually a woman came along, engrossed her phone. When she saw me she shouted, quite nastily, that her dog wouldn’t hurt us. I replied saying that it was best that dogs didn’t come near at the moment. She told it to move and still it stood there, tried again and then whacked the poor thing. A proper whack that I heard and the force actually knocked the poor dog sideways. I couldn’t let that go and told her she shouldn’t be hitting the dog, she said that he should do as he’s bleeping told and to keep my bleeping nose out of it.
She was still ranting as I walked away.

Jan, I finished a 1000 piece jigsaw in the early hours.

Crommers, it’s hard to know what to do for the best isn’t it. I hope your daughter and son in law are doing okay xx

Kaz, have fun!

Love to you all xx

The next one is a 2000 one Jo

What a nasty lady

The eggs arrived, the washing is out, Grumpy eventually got up (he watched Rambo until the early hours  ) and he's going to vacuum the pool. I'm going broad bean picking and then will tackle the bottom drive. All the rain and now the sun - the weeds are popping up all over the place

I love broad beans Jan :)

I’d love to do a 2000 piece but I’ve got nowhere to do it, I’ve got a puzzle board which is just big enough for a 1000 piece puzzle and it slides under the sofa nicely. There’s the kitchen table but I don’t think I’d get much cooked if there was a jigsaw in the room
