They are saying that, but twice this week B has had to take injured wild birds from members of the public (a grouse and a pigeon, call me a cynic, but they aren't pets, they're dinner!) and despite assuring the reception team they wouldn't have to handle cash during the outbreak, yesterday one of the vets insisted that one of B's colleagues accepted a payment of £500 in cash to settle a bill
