Morning Saundra, morning everyone

Grey start again, no wind and quite mild. Yesterday turned out really quite pleasant, so hoping for the same today.

Very difficult to remember which day it is Saundra. We ask reach other every morning and nine times out of ten, we get it wrong

Cleaning again this morning - amazing how quickly that comes round

Will pop down the track to our nice neighbours and water the plants that need it. And then hopefully, will be able to do more weeding. Picked quite a lot of broad beans yesterday, so will leave it for another day or so, so the next lot will be ready.

Curry for dinner, with samosas and naan bread, all home made 8-)

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :)

Saundra, all the days seem like Sundays to me at the moment :? xx

Curry sounds good Jan, especially the samosas 8-) :) xxx

It's a beautiful day here again :) I've already had the Zoom Slimming World meeting, stripped the bed and got the linen in the washing machine, and caught up with D by phone - we're phoning her twice a day. B has gone to work - for those of you who remember me posting about it, the reception team have raised their concerns with procedures with management, so hopefully that will be sorted! :!: Xxx

I must for in a few laps of the field later, for exercise, otherwise a lazy day planned here - I cleaned and oiled our wooden loungers yesterday, so might go out and read 8-)

Love to all, stay safe and well everyone :) xxx

Morning Saundra. That curry sounds ace Jan. Kaz, it does seem like Sunday everyday!
Not much doing here either. MrsC and her sis will be off to their dad's soon. He wandered off outside the other day and fell over. One of his neighbours had to pick him up. Not what you need when you are supposed to be social distancing.
It is a bit cloudy here, hopefully it will warm up in a bit.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s another lovely day here. Our restrictions have been extended until 5th May, so another three weeks without going out :( I have one load of winter clothes out on the line, another load in the machine and yesterday I got out some more Spring-like clothes. No real plan for today, I’m going to investigate doing an online Boots order. I was sad to see that Debenhams are closing down their stores in Ireland, although I keep getting emails from them inviting me to shop online - it is tempting to stock up on things like Maine teeshirts. Right, off to tidy up the kitchen, make the bed then out to the sun with my book. Miss Osc and SIL have put Michael and Kellie in charge for the day, that should be fun!!

Morning all, it’s sunny and warm here.

I keep thinking I’m a day ahead, I was sure it was Sunday today and yesterday I was convinced that it was Saturday.

I walked Bill first thing and there were quite a few people around, not just dog walkers but walkers, runners and cyclists too. I wasn’t sure that I’d get out early today. I fell asleep on the sofa last night just before 11, woke up and looked at my Fitbit and it was 5.26am :o I went up and got ready for bed, didn’t really sleep properly and got up just before 7 but I actually feel more refreshed this morning than I have in quite a while

I’ve done a couple of loads of washing; one of bedding and one of towels. I’ve made the beds back up before it gets too warm to be fighting with duvets. John’s looking for jobs to do. He’s cleaning the car at the moment even though it’s barely moved for nearly 3 weeks and hasn’t been rained on and he reckons he has enough leftover paint in the garage to decorate either the study or the spare room. He’s already done the little niggly jobs that he’s been trying to find time to do like fixing a towel rail and putting up a picture, and of course decorating Joe’s room.

Oh no Crommers, I hope he’s okay!

Have a good a day as you can, much love to you all xxx

Morning all :D

Another glorious day here 8-)

I'm all upside down with the days too Saundra, yesterday I kept thinking it was Saturday.
Curry for dinner sounds lovely Jan.
I hope the reception staff convince management to make things safer Kaz.
Oh dear Crommers, what a worry, hope Mrs.C's dad is okay.

I don't know how busy our harbour area is this weekend, but yesterday the police had to remove a large family gathered on the beach at Stone Bay. It's not far from us, apparently they had driven down from London for the day, the police escorted them back onto the road to London so well done them.

Well my kindle is nicely charged so it's another lazy day in the garden, this sunshine is too good to waste.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Glad he's okay Crommers.

Berlimey Jen  Makes you wonder just how dense some people are

Being good neighbours, we've been down and watered the plants that needed it and also weeded their drive. Some of the weeds were waist height

Looks like the rain is on it's way, so have brought the washing in and might just look at this jigsaw. Grumpy has been doing more than me, I get fed up with it. Oh and must do my minute on the bike 8-)

Osc, we've been in extended until May 1, but that will probably move to the end of May

Good afternoon!

Has he got a Zimmer, Crommers?
Good for the police, Jenni! :D

We know it's Saturday because Saturday is now designated Baking Day in our household, so having produced the traditional two trays of rock cakes, I'm enjoying the fruits of our labour straight out of the oven with a cup of "proper" leaf tea! We daren't bake more than once a week, because if we do, we'll be coming out of lockdown the size of whales. :?

Dinner tonight will be very much a scratch meal - a baked potato each (they've started sprouting), two burgers which have been in the bottom of the freezer since last summer, and a tin of baked beans (as we have rather a lot of tins of baked beans …..). I will probably need to do a selected supermarket shop next week, and I'll try going in the evening. I'm pleased to see Waitrose locally has attracted a lot of criticism on the town's FB page as they simply haven't got their act together on social distancing inside the store. If it's still a problem when I go next, I might just 'ave a quiet word with management.

Otherwise, it's a lovely day, warm and sunny, and we managed a short riverside walk this morning. Hope everyone's enjoying their day.
