Oh that's alright then. Bournemouth isn't in Dorset! :cute:

(Well, it is, but since 2018, it has had its own unitary authority - "Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council", or "BCP" for short - and die-hard Dorset folk no longer consider those three towns to be true Dorset. Weird, but true …. just read our local social media! )

Seriously, though, there should be no excuse accepted for breaking the guidelines. And it will be someone other than the people at that party, perhaps someone's parents or grandparents, who will be the victim of their idiocy. :|

The roads here are very quiet. I’ve taken to showing the kids how to ride on the road with instructional that they aren’t to do it for another 5 years. But it’s such a safe time to teach them. There are so many people out walking and riding. But on the whole they are doing a good job keeping 2 meters apart.

That's pretty good Weka.New Zealand seems to be doing well with restricting the virus.

It's like that on the roads here too. Driving on the main roads around here is like going back 40 years, there's so little traffic.

For cars it is the same here Cromwell. But we can't say going back 40 years because the trucks are hardly reduced at all as most of our trucks are for local area businesses and not for long haul transit.

It's an odd mix. But it is very quiet for all that.

From part of the common you can see the M6 between Jcts 11 and 12 a mile or two in the distance across the farm fields and most mornings it’s slow moving nose to tail traffic but these last few weeks it’s just lorries moving normally with a very good sized gap in between.

And that is what needs ramming home day after day - not Stay Home, Stay Safe.

Coronavirus didn't get to all corners of the UK (world) by people staying home, it got there because people took it there. How hard is that to understand?
