Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 13 Apr 2020, 08:26

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, with a few fluffy clouds around and quite warm 8-)

Washing machine on, over slept  (no idea why, no brandy last night :? ) but the hay fever woke my up, as I sneezed non stop for about five minutes

Another day of doing not a lot. We had too much rain yesterday for the garden to be ready for weeding, so might just have a wander around and dig up the nasty weeds. Think we might see if builder Nelson is open on Wednesday and order some gravel. Need about five ton to finish off everything.

Leftovers for dinner, with chips and being naughty, fried egg butties for breakfast :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, and everyone :)

Another day of not much here too  I was going to swap over my winter and summer clothes, but it's gone very chilly again this morning, after a weekend of summer temps :? Will see how the week pans out. There might be Zumba tonight, but with it being a BH (we don't normally have them on a BH) I'm not sure.

Stay safe, everyone :) xxx

Morning all. It's our daughter's birthday today so we are going up to drop her presents off (on the dorrstep  ). MrsC baked a cake with the last of our out of date self raising flour and we haev a nice bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc for her.
Colder here too Kaz, it's very noticably down on yesterday.
I'm making a cottage pie later and that's about it.
Have a good same old same old everybody!

morning all - a rather windy and chilly day today. The summer weather we had the past few weeks disappeared in a flash.

Got up usual time to let the chickens out their run (they make so much darn noise otherwise) and then went back to bed; haven't done that in a very long time - only got up just after 9

Going to have another lazy day of doing non specific pootling about.... Will probably do quite a bit of pottering in the greenhouse; it was too hot the past few days to spend much time in there - today is perfect for it.

Have as lovely a day as you can everyone x

Morning all, another day another gazillion episodes of Homes Under The Hammer....

I walked Bill early on, it’s so cold and windy and I thought we’d stick to the woods and out of the wind but he had other ideas and headed through the woods and onto the golf course, which is very open and very high up (you can see for miles in the direction of Birmingham and Dudley). The sun was shining though and there’re some very pretty blossom trees on there so it wasn’t too bad. We checked out the bluebell wood on the other side but they’re not in flower yet.

Happy Birthday to your daughter Crommers, it’ll be a strange one for her I’m sure.

Much love to you all xx

Good morning everybody.

The sun is out but colder than yesterday as there is a cooling wind.
Have cleaned the inside if the cooker. We only use the small top oven so not a lot of work.
Now just pootling.
Fed up of the news about the virus. Heard someone I used to work with has doed from the virus. He lived about a mile from us.
No mention of the deaths in USA from severe storm in southern staes on BBC or Sky.
No mention of number of other deaths in hospitals, care homes on n the roads since this epidemic started.
Have a good d ay everybody

Morning all, it is windy and cold here too - I left towels out on the line overnight and they are well wrapped around the line - Edward has freed them once but they are the same again now. I had shirts ready to go out but no point really, I’ll dry them indoors.

We had a lovely day yesterday, a fun video chat with Miss Osc and her family plus my sister. Then Edward cooked a delicious roast lamb dinner, and we finished off the day by watching “Yesterday” a charming film with great Beatles music. Today I’ll do my exercises and we plan to practice some of our dances. I’m also tempted to take advantage of Debenhams 50% off sale :cute:

Morning all :D

Lots of rain overnight, started quite dull this morning, but the sun's coming out now :D

Happy Birthday to your daughter Crommers. How are Mrs.C and her sister dad while all this is going on?
Leftovers for us too Jan, cold chicken and I'll make bubble and squeak with the veggies.

Sounds as though not a lot happening applies to most of us.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Things go on with FiL just as normal Jen. He just takes it as his due.
