Afternoon all - just!

Well, I just made a cake! I used to bake a lot, years ago, but since I started trying to lose weight that went by the wayside I'd just finished the cleaning and found a pack of SR flour, still in date! As I also have eggs I decided to make a cake, and it's currently in the oven Wish it luck?! Just plain cake, I have jam to sandwich it together!

I weighed in this morning, ready for the virtual SW meeting tomorrow - stayed the same this week, but then I haven't eaten any cake yet!

Lovely and sunny here

I much prefer using a keyboard Ria. I only use my laptop during the evenings when I'm sat on the settee, most things get done on the desktop.
Crommers the thought of a string vest did make me chuckle
I love my steam cleaner too Saundra, most of our floors are porcelain, I'd be lost without it.
Kaz I used to do a lot of baking too, not so much nowadays, but I usually make something nice for the children when they visit.

Our delivery arrived on time yesterday evening, only a few things missing. Popped a note in next door so hoping she's been able to get me some eggs and a loaf of bread.

The tumble dryer has given up the ghost, sooo annoying. I've ordered a new one from ao and it's due to be delivered sometime on Monday so most of the heavy washing can wait till then.

ho joy of joy,a I'd found a bottle of washing up liquid found one a week or to ago under the sink cupboard and just found the other one
God I sound pathetic wonder why they are so, hard to buy Iceland had none as aemonn Holmes said on tv this morning he can't get Brown sauce

Groundhog day today, busy this morning 'doing' the upstairs (hoovering, polishing, bathrooms) and the stairs, I have left the downstairs to eke it out a little After lunch I had a walk, just a couple of miles but it keeps my steps up and it's nice to walk in the sunshine, even if it IS a freezing wind!!

Jen surely you have a keyboard on your laptop? I don't have a desktop any more (although the laptop is on the dining room table as I prefer using it there) but it deffo has a keyboard

I managed to sort out - in a way - my iTunes....I have it on the laptop and copied a few CDs last night, thinking I could wear earbuds whilst walking, and have some music on the go - I haven't ever felt the need to do this before as I'm mostly with Tom, and we chat, or I'm in town or shopping and I don't bother with music then. I couldn't figure out how to transfer the files....sound familiar?? LOL....and then I managed today!! Yay!!! THEN I couldn't find any earbuds and THEN they don't fit my iPhone 7! So again today I have had no music....BUT Tom found a set in his car and they are now charging up - maybe tomorrow??? I feel I am trying and failing so many technical things just now - and I'm not techy so it's a huge learning curve!!! And very trying of my patience!!

Sorry Gal probably confused things, I do have an integrated keyboard with a keypad, no mouse though. Also although my laptop is a good size the screen on the desktop is much bigger, altogether much nicer to use for documents etc.
