Hi Cromwell,

I mailed Dick and Angel back in February about something and wound up on the chateau mailing list.

The TV has gone home, they are rescheduling events and just making the best of it. They have taken the time to pick up on ideas and selling opportunities that they had put on the back burner for want of time.

Exactly how E and I feel WM. Yes of course we miss our family, but although this will go on for longer than any of us would like, it is temporary and in real terms given how long most of us expect to live, it's just a blip.

Not sure I totally agree with the first part of this WM - this virus will never die out; once in existence it will continue - there will ALWAYS be a host for it somewhere. What needs to happen is that a vaccine is found ASAP; that should (as it already is) be main focus so people can be innoculated sooner rather than later. In the meantime, people should be tested and those that have had it (knowingly or unknowingly) hopefully have developed antibodies and then be given the all clear to continue with life. Something has to happen soon because this lock down can't continue much longer without this country (and many others) going into such a meltdown that it will take

I totally agree Saundra; and I don't understand why - after three weeks so well within incubation period - family members who have not shown symptoms can't visit each other. I get no large gatherings etc but surely visiting single relatives should be allowed

I agree with you ria. My friends daughter is a key worker, she works for the council, in IT and is needed to keep all the home workers kit working. Her husband has been able to stay at home and look after their 2 year old. He works for a building firm, and if you are moving into an empty property, which obviously covers new builds, you can move in. Problem is things like drains and steps and drives needs finishing, so he had to assemble some gangs yesterday and go out to work. so what to do with Jacob His nursery is open for key worker children but he hasn't been there for 5 weeks, he hasn't been anywhere apart from home and for walks. so his nanny and pappy had him, because they haven't been anywhere either and as Meg said surely that is better than him going to a nursery with children of NHS frontline staff and nursery staff going backwards and forwards to their families No its not allowed, but I completely agree

I think they are probably doing the right thing Shell. Your friend sounds to be doing the same job as my Chris, but thankfully he's working from home, with a rare trip or two into his office x

We don't actually need a vaccine, as long as treatmeant can be improved so that coronavirus stands less chance of killing you. For instance if you fall ill, go to hospital and they give you an injection of remdesivir or ivermectin that zaps the bug and puts you back on your feet, that will do for now?

she has to go in and people bring stuff to her, drop it in the entrance lobby, she sorts it and they take it back. Problem is she says they never clean it first. she is handed mobiles that are covered in grease and grime laptops that are filthy she says it takes longer to clean than to fix them
