This has been the coldest, wettest and windiest April we've known.

Not moaning, as we really needed that rain, but I'm normally in the pool by now.

yes, sunny with cold winds...... in a way lovely but so drying for the gardens which isn't good. Farmers are going to struggle this year as they're predicting a very warm summer and we just haven't had enough rain

The ground is clay round here and is starting to crack open. I've already started a bit of selected watering in the garden, and it doesn't take long to get through a water butt unfortunately ….

First it was the virus. Now we've got bees going up our kitchen water overflow pipe ….. :shock:

I mean, this is Dorset! There's a zillion soddin' places bees could nest in this county, and they flippin' well decide go up my waste pipe! :evil: :evil: :evil:
