Good morning.

Very summery looking out there. 8-)

Great excitement...Mercadona awaits.

Fingers crossed this time next week I can walk there instead of taking the car. :D

Reading by the pool this afternoon. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another grey start to the day. But mild ish and we're still waiting for that thunderstorm  Got all the clouds for it yesterday, nut nada, zilch

Will finish of the strimming this morning, as long as it doesn't rain. Grumpy will put the metal blade on his strimmer to finish off the drive and I'll do the banks. Might do some weeding afterwards. might not, depends on how the back feels. I'll also boil the lamb bone, to make some stock.

Cheats dinner tonight. Pizza and chips. Don't really like pizza, but we got it as a "just in case"

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

I've just checked the weather.

From 19C today, with possible rain, we'll be 28C on Friday  and no rain ;)

Morning Ally and Jan, morning everyone....

Woke up to a very overcast and grey sky - and so much colder than in the past. A bit of tidying outside and then heading to the allotment for a few hours. Nothing much going on work wise so I'll have the phone with me and if anything urgent does crop up then I can be home in 5 mins. But just have to get a few things done today before the weather changes. Then back home to sort a few more things in the garden that can't be done when it's raining.

We're the opposite here Jan, we have had amazingly warm weather for the past few weeks but now it looks like the rain is going to set in and stay for a few weeks - and temperatures more normal for this time of year. The rain is very much needed and the farmers will be happy for it but it is going to make lock-down a bit harder for some that rely on being able to get outside for mental well being :(

Enjoy your day whatever it is you're up to... x

Morning all :)

I hope you'll be able to walk there next week, Ally. Fingers crossed! XX

Jan, glad it's warming up for you 8-) :D xxx

Ria, I so agree, the weather has made this more bearable, as much as we need some rain xxx

It's definitely more changeable here today, still fine but hazy and cooler. I'm doing a Zumba at 10, then have some washing and ironing to do.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. I do like a good pizza but there are lots of so-so ones around.
Another day of supercharged adrenalin awaits. MrsC is off to B and M this afternoon. I will be ordering some heat packs for my hip/back and applying for a refund for the hand sanitisers and gloves that were ordered on Amazon but never came. I had to order others and they did come, thankfully.
A bit cloudier here today. We do need rain but having come through such an awful wet winter, please not too much!
Have a good day all.

Good morning, it’s a lovely sunny warm day here and I have two wash loads on the line. I made three little preemie baby hats for my grandnephew which I have wrapped up ready to post, Miss Osc will post it for me today. We are just starting to watch the funeral of a stalwart of the dance world who died last week aged 97 (not from the virus) which is being shown on the church webcam. She was an amazing woman, I remember watching her jiving at her 90th birthday party and thinking I want to be like her. After that, we have a nice walk planned and are bringing a small picnic to make it more of an outing.

Good morning all, it’s a mixed one here - dull one minute and brightening up the next.

I walked Billy first thing and it was like an episode of Roadrunner as he chased a pheasant which insisted on running rather than flapping it’s wings and taking off for a minute or so, then on the way back home it had returned and he chased it again. I’m expecting an Acme delivery to turn up for him

I’ve got an Amazon delivery coming today, it’s a couple of jigsaws. One for me and the other is a belated birthday present for my sister, it was her birthday last Thursday. Parcelforce have just delivered an Adidas parcel. John’s been saying that he needed some new running shoes so Joe’s bought him some for his birthday this week so I’ve hidden those away under Joe’s bed.

I’m just checking through the Tesco click and collect order for tomorrow and having to make adjustments. So many items are unavailable.

Crommers, you’re right about pizza. There’s a wonderful place in Birmingham (and I think they have one in Leeds too) called Rudy’s which does amazing pizzas and is very reasonable, and you’re a bit spoiled when you come to eat a supermarket one after going there.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but a tad cooler today. Think the forecast is rain later in the week.

Enjoy your salad box Saundra.

Not much happening here, the cover that came with our garden furniture was looking really grubby and had gained a couple of holes so we ordered a new one, it arrived this morning. It's not from the original company, they were out of stock, so fingers crossed it fits. That's about as much excitement we can expect for today

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
