Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 29 Apr 2020, 05:26

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

Swimming and reading in the shade.

Yesterday I got the recipe for Wagamama's katsu curry so that's dinner tonight sorted. :D

GB Menu, GB Sewing Bee and a load of chocolate. Bliss. :D

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning. Bit chilly though

We had to move to another bedroom last night, as I was being dive bombed by a moz   Took ages to get back to sleep

Off to the delights of Ourique later. Visit the hardware shop, Nelson, if he's open, the chemist and the deep joy of Pingo. Will drive past the post office and if there's not a big queue, will go in and enquire about our post. Since the bar is shut, I'm guessing the post is staying at the post office.

Back for weeding and favas for dinner 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning everyone

A lovely sunny start to the day but expecting more rain in a bit; always welcome at the moment and it's doing the plants the world of good.

Not much to report this end - another non specific pootling day.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all.
A damp morning here. We've had overnight rain, the first for some time.
MrsC has gone on an early trip to B and M; hopefully the queue won't be too bad. What I don't understand is how are the garden centres which sell palnts shut, but B and M and The Range which also sell plants are open?
All this means is that bored gardeners are trotting off to get their bedding plants (in April  ) from B and M and making the queue longer.
I managed a Sainsbury's visit late afternoon yesterday. Pretty well stocked apart from flour and eggs.
Later today I'm making a boeuf bourginon for tea and the rest to freeze.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Just waiting for my Zumba class to start. It's dull here, and chilly. Loads of ironing and housework to keep me busy later. Open garden centres would be very welcome Saundra :) 8-)

Crommers, sounds good to me :)

Love to all :) xx

Good morning all, it’s another dull one but thankfully the rain has finally stopped (for now).

Bill’s made up for the fact that he didn’t get a walk yesterday by leading me for miles through the woods. Joe’s gone to work, John’s working here and Tom will no doubt get on with his course work when he gets up. I’ve cleaned the bathroom and I’m just having a coffee break before getting the hoover out.

We collected a Tesco order from their Rugeley store last night, I couldn’t get a slot around here. There was a fair bit unavailable when I placed the order so I had to go in store to see what I could get. We went back to Hednesford to do that though, I’ve never been in the Rugeley store and with the one way system they’re using I was worried that the layout would be different and I’d end up not being able to find things so I had a list for Hednesford in aisle order. It wasn’t a bad experience, I’d been dreading it all day. I’d been expecting to have to queue in the rain but for a start they’d closed all entrances apart from the two in the under store car park so it was sheltered and there wasn’t a queue anyway. I got pretty much everything I went in for and didn’t have to queue at the till either. I even managed to get birthday cards for John and Joe and Joe’s caterpillar birthday cake (a must-have for him, it wouldn’t be his birthday without his caterpillar cake )
On the click and collect I’d ordered a 50ml hand sanitiser which was out of stock but they substituted it with a 300ml Carex one instead :Hi:

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, it’s raining here  the first daytime rain in over a month, I would say, so it looks like some ironing will get done. Edward is making some biscuits and later on we will do our supermarket order for delivery tomorrow. My phone call with the radiation oncologist went well yesterday, I will be having two weeks treatment, just waiting now for the starting date, she didn’t think it would be too long a wait.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright here, wonder if it will last.

Nothing planned for today, general pootling and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
