Morning all :)

I'm doing a supermarket run too, Al :) Take care :) xxx

It's raining, so will need my raincoat and brolly to walk up to Sainsbury's. Hopefully due to the weather the queue won't be as bad as last week :cute: I need to ring D and get her list first.

Em and I have another gossip session planned via WhatsApp video this afternoon. We both really miss our regular catch-ups, and technology helps full the gap ;) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Cloudy this morning after last nights rain, but it's going to be another warm day.

We'll be watching those Ally, not sure I know even half of the slebs though

The plan was ironing, prepping for curry, making curry and cutting up the ginormous pork loin I bought yesterday, then weeding. As we had more rain than we thought we were going to get, the weeding will have to wait. We'll transplant some rose cuttings we took from the bushes down by the ruin around the garden shed. And the white carnation cutting it big enough to go in the garden now.

So that's today taken care of 8-)

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all. Another here with a supermarket trip planned for later on.
Sunny out but the wind is freezing.
I need to ring for our repeat prescriptions today.
And that's about it. MrsC off to her dad's soon. I have a wine order coming today or tomorrow, must remember to check the old emails.
Have a good day and stay safe everyone.

Well......I walked to Mercadona!

I thought I need a walk , since lockdown I've always taken the car (which I'd never do normally) and it was pure and utter bliss to get that wee 5kms in.

I stupidly wore my Levi jacket  which was soon wrapped round my middle as it's hot.

I'm feeling very emotional leading up to this weekend :( so the walk was needed and has helped a little.

Good afternoon everybody.

There is blue sky but have seen grey clouds but no rain yet.
Went and taxed the car this morning at our local post office. It hasincreases by £5.00 since i got the renewal notice.
Have had a new bulb put in the oven by a lcal firm who sells electrical appliances and dos repairs. Worth the expense as I did not want to brak the glass whic fits over the bulb.
Now just pootling.
Ally, how many pairs of shoes do you wear out per km?
Post lady has brought a small parcle and we are expexting another parcle by one of the courier firms. Have got an email to say it will be delivered this afternoon.
Had another parcel delivered after8.00 p.m on Satuday night. Just shows how much on line shopping has increased.

Afternoon all. I have been working every day on trying to get our garage and workshop into some sort of order. We've knocked a small L shaped wall down which has allowed me to move my car and we have stripped out a small cave and office which were in place for when it was a business. My motorcycle is in there.

I have worked my way half way up the workshop but I have to reorganise one of the small cottages/outbuildings to take the off cuts from the workshop.

It is a bit like musical chairs except we get more space and more storage each time the music stops.

I seem to have strained a tendon in my right hand so most of the heavy stuff has to be left handed for a while.

Our shopping, apart from distancing and only one person per visit, is normal. There are some products which remain less than full, but we never find totally empry shelves.

As for the lock down itself, the biggest change for me is I'm home. So I'm doing less phone/Skype than normal.

It has been raining all week and chucking it down since yesterday afternoon, but the sun has just come out.

Time to rescue the third water barrel before it topples.

Have a great day and stay safe.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright here.

We're expecting our Sainsbury order sometime between 4-5pm. Just seen the e-mail telling me what's missing, only two items not available, nothing we can't do without.

Not much else happening here today, I waded through the household files and was feeling quite pleased with myself only to find 6 more big box files hidden away. Goodness knows what's in them, it must all be ancient stuff, I'd completely forgotten they were there :o Methinks I'll be having a leisurely stroll down memory lane...........

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s fairly dull here today, the sun peeps through occasionally but it is cold. We’ve had a busy enough morning, our grocery delivery was due between 10-12 so while waiting, I did some hand washing then started cleaning the utility room. Our delivery arrived, surprisingly without some everyday items such as milk, apples and yogurts. Hopefully Miss Osc will be able to get them for us locally. When that was all put away, we had a cuppa and some of Edward’s homemade ginger biscuits. He is now making pastry and will make some rhubarb tarts as we got rhubarb in our delivery. I also got a phone call with my appointment for the pre-treatment planning scan next Wednesday.

Ally, thanks for mentioning Marigold Hotel, we will enjoy watching it - I made a decision some time ago to be very careful what I watch as it is too easy to get sucked into panic, paranoia and negativity at the moment.

All I am thinking of you, and agreeing about a walk helping. I do my best thinking out walking ((((hugs))))

Osc, I'm glad your appointment has come through promptly 8-) (((x)))

It was a wet walk up to Sainsbury's, but no queue! Couldn't believe my luck, but maybe everyone decided to stay home in the dry  Got everything we needed 8-)
