Morning all.... although can't believe the time; the days are flying by. I was emailing with a colleague this morning and she was asking if I'm OK.... and truth be told; I'm more than fine and I really honestly and truly don't know just how I'm going to fit a regular working day back into my day when all goes back to normal :D. I'm keeping myself super busy with all sorts of things and don't have a bored / dull moment

Ally, hope you had a lovely run and thanks for updating re Jo. Has anyone heard from Aggers or is in touch with him - Frank, you?
Kaz, good luck with the shopping
Cruiser and Saundra, it's a lovely day here as well with lots of sunshine and warmth promised
Commers, now that seems to be a rather beneficial war to be part of.... well beneficial for you at least; Mrs C may not be as happy
Jan, I'll be heading out for a walk later on and then pick up lunch on the way back; it's lovely here so hopefully can work on my tan as well

Well 20 mins to go before our weekly office conference call - there are two company wide conference calls in the week, one Tuesdays and the other Thursdays; those are the two days I put make up on and make a bit of an effort; the other days I don't care. I'm not the most fashion conscious at the best of times, but this lock down and not seeing many people really isn't doing me any favours. Dressing for comfort certainly beats dressing for style and some of the combinations I end up wearing - lordy me is all I'll say

Have a lovely day everyone xx

That's exactly how I felt when I retired Ria, however did I find time to go to work

Ally glad you've been in touch with Jo, we've all been worried about her.
Would be lovely if someone could let us know how Aggers is doing too.
Enjoy the bun wars Crommers, methinks however it goes you'll be the biggest winner ;)

It would have been mother's 94th birthday today.

Hopefully we've had our three breakdowns. First the tumble dryer, then the shredder and number three E's tablet gave up the ghost a few days ago, his new one arrived yesterday. He's delighted with it, his old one had become very slow and cumbersome.

Pottering again today, all the box files are sorted so it's just a bit more shredding to do. Still haven't started on the bedroom drawers and the wardrobes, that will probably wait till another day

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Oh good to know Jo is ok - I asked a couple of days ago but she's not been in to post/seen it yet - thanks for the update Ally, please pass on my thoughts and love xx

Ria, I honestly feel exactly the same re work!! I'd happily stay in lockdown, I am not looking forward to going back in and risking catching the virus one bit. More lockdown I say! (Maybe I'm just ready to retire? ;) )

It's been another glorious day today, until about an hour ago when it clouded over and is quite cool now, so I've come inside.

I went to Lidl this morning, long queues (!) but I got nearly all I needed, then popped along to B&M for cat litter. I did fancy a little mooch but the litter was so heavy and there were no trollies so I had to carry it round the store, I just came out with the one item. I want some bedding plants!!! Huh!!!  :?

Tom's been busier today at work than he has all week - 3 different pick ups, but done now till Monday.

Have a good rest of day all xx

Might be worth holding fire for a short while, Gal, as it's rumoured that garden centres might be getting the go-ahead to reopen shortly, and there's bound to be bargains.

Nothing much to report from down here apart from the fact that I spent over 90 minutes on the phone to our bank yesterday trying to get rectified a glitch that was entirely their fault.

Oh, and the car passed its MOT :D

I've managed to make my pots look just about respectable, with a mix of Co-op bought pansies, geranium plugs offline, and mint and basil plants from the veg department of Sainsbury's! Not as pretty as usual, but better than empty pots :?

Ossie, I would love a mooch around a garden centre 8-) :)
