Grey, damp, cold. More rain forecast. Molly was rather damp when she came in at 3.00 this morning

Stripping the bed and putting new sheets on is about as exciting as it gets here Although I hope to get the phone call from the chemist and we can then go into Ourique. If it's this afternoon, we'll drop the rather out of date library books back and see if I can find some I haven't read.

No new books for me The library, although it could have opened last week, is staying shut until at least 18 May. Then Fatima will talk me through what we have to do, to return and also choose new books.

One more rain shower and my feet are cold, so socks will be found, somewhere

Morning all, raining here and has been since last night. Forecasts for lower temps and rain all week. Once this is over I will drain and clean the pool.

Hello all and happy Monday

It's so so windy and cold today - but then according to ancient (and yes I know it's not quite accurate) folklore this week is the week of the ice saints (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_Saints) so it's to be expected . I had three very busy days at the allotment so am quite glad to have a quieter relaxed day. Waiting for my food delivery to arrive between 1 and 3 and then just going to ponder cleaning the house and hope that pondering will produce a miracle (sadly doubt it though).
