:( Oh no....hope she is better soon x Must be the time for poorly pets, Jen's Ruby was sick last night (although \I suspect that's likely because she had been wormed) and Charlie seems a little flat this past couple of days....he's toileting normally (phew!!) but eating a little less and isn't flying up and down stairs as much as usual :(

So no work for Tom today, so he needed something to do, or he gets bored and fidgety. He decided to go for a walk - he's been to where Donna lives (5 miles away) and then on to A's village (a further mile) and back - so he'll have done about 10+ miles altogether. I have been on standby to go and pick him up if his knee starts to give him jip, but so far, so good. Shame really, as I was thinking about going to MY old home village to work out how to go to a particular place since they flattened the woods and made it into a quarry (if you want to see, check out the satellite on google maps for West Cornforth and see just HOW much quarry there is there!! All lovely green woods when I was growing up...

I have cleaned the carpet a bit in the living room with my Vax and done the crossword and a bit of training from work (boss has done some videos for us to learn when we can)

Afternoon all, sun and cloud today and quite cool when the sun goes behind the clouds. It’s our wedding anniversary, 48 years, not sure how that happened  We took the children out this morning, Edward and Michael went to hit a few golf balls and kick a football around. Kellie and I headed off to the local fairy village - a little glade in the woods where some children had put a few fairy doors. But since the lockdown, there are children going for walks locally who have not done that before, and the fairy village has spread out quite a bit, lots of fairy doors, decorations, painted stones and shells. Nothing clears your head quite like spending time with a chatty five-year old! We had a lovely time and were out for just over an hour. Back for a late lunch and no plans for the rest of the day.

Well, spraying for vine weevils, actually … :D
It was my diary task for this week.

Hope the poorly pets are soon recovered. Our neighbour over the way has just taken in a rescue greyhound. She's 8 years old and named Scooby-do; they also have her racing history and she was quite a good performer on the tracks, apparently.

minus 3???? eek, that is cold.

I'm taking a chance tonight and didn't head over to the allotment to cover the potatoes, but apparently we should be sitting around 4 degrees plus.... so fingers crossed!

But golly, wrap up warm - that is really cold for this time of year

Do you know her racing name Ossie? Tom is always interested in retired greys...we have two of our own as you know and he has a lot of interest in the whole past history ;)

Charlie seems a lot better thank you, as does Ruby :)
