Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and cloudy. Varying shades of grey, but still grey  More rain and thunderstorms forecast for today :Hi:

Ironing for me this morning and then I will make a favas dish for tomorrow and some for the freezer. Still got a load of broad beans :D

Can't wait for the week-end, when the weather improves and we can get out in the garden and do a tidy up and sort out.

Watching the same thing tonight Ally ;)

Have as good a day as you can every one xx

Morning Ally :D

My days are a bit "Groundhog Day" too, but at least it's sunny  xxx

If it's Thursday, it must be Sainsbury's :cute:  Becky is coming with me, to push a trolley round for D's shopping, so I'll be getting a list from D when I ring her. I expect the queue will be loooong again, as the weather is so good today. We'll see. It's my Chris's birthday today, he's 42! I sent him a card and an Amazon voucher - and a promise of a celebration when this nonsense is all over! Will ring him later. Today should have been the holiday in Corfu, although I'm trying not to think about that too much :cute: There will be other holidays.....

Congrats again to the new grandad! :Hi:

Hope your weather clears up Jan :) xxx

Take care everyone :) xxx

Same!
Good morning everyone.Fine and sunny here. It was frosty this morning but is supposed to warm up as the day goes on.
One of our neighbours reversed his car into the side of another neighbours car last week. He didn't say sorry either. Maybe the prospect of paying out upset him. His wife is the one who is late seventies, has had at least one stroke but refuses to stop; she is still going out and using public transport regularly. I'm kind of lost between being aghast and admiring her, the stubborn old so and so. The only way I'd get on a bus atm is at gunpoint.
Got to keep one eye out for the fish man this morning, his times vary a bit. Very nice fish though. MrsC has raided our coin jar and taken all the £1 coins out! Honestly, she like Blackadder raiding Baldrick's stash!
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a lovely day here and warmer than yesterday. Today’s highlight is the grocery delivery. Also Edward hopes we can go to the golf club to collect his clubs, he spoke to them yesterday but nobody has answered the phone there yet this morning. I think he and Michael are playing football sometime this afternoon, while they are doing that I’ll go for a walk. I’m going to do some ironing while waiting for the delivery.

Morning all......almost

Bright and sunny, still a bit windy and chilly.

We love The Marigold Hotel too Ally, reminds us of our trip to India, one of my favourite holidays.
Absolutely agree Crommers, the only way we'd get on a bus is at gunpoint too.

Snap Kaz, groundhog day pretty well sums up our days too. The main excitement will be checking the cupboards so I can amend my Sainsbury order due for delivery tomorrow. One thing's for sure we're definitely not spending as much money, no coffees or meals out, no cinema and so on. I saw a lovely pair of Skechers on QVC last night and was very tempted, but then thought what a waste of £50, when will I get to wear them :?

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon. Turning out nice here.

Nothing much to say. Did some menu planning with Mrs O (always a subject dear to Ossie's heart :D ) and decided to defer the next big shop to Saturday afternoon.
Gas central heating went on the blink again  (refuses to turn off) so I'm hoping it'll reset itself when I turn the boiler back on.
We then had a walk around the other side of the estate and managed to get ourselves lost (rather too many cul-de-sacs)!
Back home for a lazy afternoon.

Take care all.

Good afternoon everybody,

It is lovely and sunny with a few fluffy clouds

Had an electrician come this morning to fit new sockets in the garage. We are going to have a new garage door which will be elecrtically operated.
Ordered it just before lock down but now have to wait until it is over as new doors are not being delivered. Could have done most of the work but would not attempt to connect the new wiring to the existing consumer unit.

Had two phone calls since lunch. One from our bank to make sure we are OK and our accounts are correct. Said we can still get cash from the ATM which is outside the bank.
The second one was from our doctor to say they wanted me to have ablood test. It means going to a clinic for the sample to be taken. Do not have to see
a doctor or nurse. May have to have a phone consultation when they get the results.
Nice to see weare being looked after.
Have a good day everybody.
