Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey, cloudy and not warm  More rain forecast for today.

Not sure what we can find to do today. If the rain holds off, I'll get some dead heading done and will have a look at the veg. Some of the onions are ready for pulling. Might even get some roses in the garden :D

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy your walk Ally :)

Ditto your gardening Jan :)

No plans here really. Both Mick and B are off work as we should have been in Corfu. The sun is out, so at least we have the garden ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

morning all. Such a shame about Corfu Kaz. I hope you get out in the garden Jan and Rogan Josh sounds good Ally.
Same old same old here. On the scout for paracetamol this morning and a couple of other bits we need for the weekend. Apart from that very little on.
Thank heavens that the weather is ok. I wouldn't fancy queueing up for 20 minutes in the rain outside a shop.
MrsC to her dad's soon. I think in the near future we are going to have to sit down and talk about the best way forward.
One of MrsC's cousins has been in touch asking about her late Uncle Jud's will.
There is a rumour that he left any money to his nephews and nieces; he never married.
To the best of my recollection though even getting probate can take literally months, so she will have to wait to see what's what.
There is a slight edge to this because of all the nephews and nieces MrsC is the only one who ever did anything for the family. But as soon as money is mentioned, here they all come. Families eh?
Have a good day all.

Thanks Crommers, but I'm trying to be phlegmatic about it - there will be other holidays xxx

Our Sainsbury's had a full stock of paracetamol yesterday, just to let you know 8-) xxx

I empathise about the will stuff, our experience with Mick's aunt last year was very....erm....illuminating, shall we say :?

I think you might be right, about your FiL (((x))(

Morning all, it’s dull here and cool. Edward is delighted with himself, golf courses open up again on Monday and he has got time slots for himself and the people he plays with. Strict rules apply, slots 12 minutes apart and only two players. The clubhouse won’t be open and you have to live with 5km of the club (although I don’t know how they will enforce that!) This morning I trimmed his hair, I did a reasonable job - I wanted to be a hairdresser when I was in my teens but my mother wouldn’t allow it. He has gone across the road to practice his putting. I’ll tidy around then do my gym exercises. We are ordering in our dinner tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Shame about our holidays Kaz, but as you say thank goodness for the garden, can't imagine how awful it would be living in a tower block right now.
Wills often seem to bring out the worst in families Crommers, hope things get sorted without too much hassle.
My days are all upside down Saundra, if it wasn't for our newspaper delivery I'd be lost

Washing day, doesn't seem like a weeks flown by. Had an e-mail to say everything in my Sainsbury delivery this afternoon is in stock, result 8-)

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Ye we would have just got back from the Lakes last Saturday under normal circumstances....still we have rebooked for the same time next year so all is well (hopefully!!)

It's a bit cloudy here today with the odd burst of sunshine, but it isn't warm. I have been out to a garden centre and managed to get some plants :D :D :D I'm so excited to make a start planting them up so we can have a bit of colour in the garden :) I might leave it till tomorrow so I have all day to faff :D I thought about popping to Lidl for some bits but not been yet. D brought the kids down so we had a chat with them out the front garden, they played badminton with some old rackets, was just so sweet to see them.

Also, Tom went across the road to tidy their garden up a bit. This couple are the ones who we did the house exchange with, so it's my old house. They have a place in Tenerife and were there when lockdown began so they are still there! So while Tom was cutting some of the overgrowth back I nipped round to have a look at the garden now....it's like a wilderness!! The decking hasn't been treated (we had paving slabs and a lot of plants/shrubs and a nice lawn) and looks a mess. The trees at the back which had been planted by the builders are huge and overgrown and quite honestly the entire place is a shambles. Obviously they haven't been home to tidy it but this is more than just a few weeks growth   Quite a shock.

Anyway, hope the sun shines for you, have a smashing day xxx

ETA Tom had been communicating with the lady of the house via text, and she knew he intended to do this. She also said to use their garden bin if we needed to
