Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 18 May 2020, 05:31

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly . :D

We've entered Phase 1 today which sees a lot of changes. :D

Bars and restaurants can open but only using their terraces for eating or drinking but as we're a nation that eat and drink outside anyway that's fine.

We can now travel through Málaga province. We can go out in the car. We can exercise outside more than once a day.

And after 10 weeks of not being able to do this I don't want to do it just yet!
I need a couple of days to see how things go. :?

So I'm quite happy today to have another day reading by the pool. :D

Have a good one.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning and quite warm already 8-)

Things opening here too and like you Ally, will leave it for a day or so before I venture out.

Grumpy will be strimming this morning, along the fence line where Jose Felipe and his machine couldn't reach, just makes it look tidier. I'll be pootling in the garden and will get my trusty cushion out and sit on the drive for an hour or so and pull up weeds. It's looking a bit of a mess.

Also need to strip the chickens down, ready for one dinner tonight and another tomorrow.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :) It's sunny here, hopefully it will warm up a bit. No particular plans, other than posting a birthday card, and doing Zumba tonight.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning Ally,

Our Skip opens for all waste, not just garden waste, this morning. Time to get the concrete block wall away that has been weighing down our trailer and. Blocking up the garage for three weeks.

Beyond that, I'm waiting for a delivery of wood and solid insulation so we can r-face the downstairs garage conversion and control both the heat and noise down there. Whole new wall going In with a window instead of a door.

Yesterday I learned that my Brother was diagnosed with Covid-19, he was at home shielding (he got a letter because he is on immunosuppressants), he was diagnosed on Tuesday but has be en unable to get a home test.

Apparently he is through the worst of it now. Hopefully, if they get the antibody tests up and running, in about a month he should be able to go out again. But as he can't even get a virus test I won't hold my breath.

Have a great day everyone.

Oh my. :D :D :D

I went for my walk and did a detour through town.....it was beyond wonderful to see people sitting outside cafes eating breakfast and drinking coffee.

The tables had all been spaced out to government guidelines but how lovely to hear the chatter over the tables.

This and the beautiful sunshine was a real mood lifter. :Hi:

Good morning all, it’s sunny and warm here.

I had an early 4 mile walk with Billy, he’s found a new favourite path which we now have to explore every day. It leads to a dead end, which probably isn’t a true dead end but it’s very overgrown with brambles. I can’t see the path on Google Earth to see where it leads as it’s among the trees.

John’s working, he’s going into the office on Wednesday to move the furniture around in preparation for them returning to work.

I’m waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can hang the washing out to dry. The kitchen floor’s been steam mopped and I’ll hoover throughout shortly. I want to do some pruning too. John somehow lost the secateurs so I had to order some from Amazon and they came late yesterday. Tonight we’ll walk Bill again and later on I’ll go for my run.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all.
I have been to Sainsbury's this am. It was fine, no queue to get in (9.30 am) and pretty well stocked. No Redoxon, but they did have some flour!
We have had Eliza and Dobby the dog too, it was lovely to see them even if it was for just an hour whilst their mum went to B and M. They have just gone now.
Mrsc and her sis have gone to their dad's. I might to the flags this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Lovely bright and sunny 8-)

E's feeling a lot better this morning, still sore but that's a given, at least he managed to shower without my help. On the other hand I overdid it in the garden yesterday afternoon and my ankle is singing, really painful. Intend to sit out in the garden with my foot up on a stool for most of the day. What a couple of crocks we are

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
