Good morning Tuesday

Good morning.

Hot and sunny. Yesterday was like a furnace.

Off for a run in a minute then back to chill out poolside this afternoon.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning and it's going to be another rather warm day 8-)

with that in mind, I'll be heading outside after breakfast, to do an hour or so weeding. Didn't get round to it yesterday, what with doing bits and bobs inside, then skyping with a friend for quite a while  by then, it was too hot to sit out in

Brought the huge fan up from the battery store too, used it in the new back room, much needed, when the sun gets on it.

Grumpy will cut my hair later and we'll put the screening up on the pool wall, to stop nosy nickers next door peering at us.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning both, enjoy the heat! 8-)

Morning all :)

The sun's out again here, it was quite nice yesterday but there's been a cold breeze keeping the temperature down :cute: Zumba at 10, and I must get my ironing pile sorted later. Mick and B are both still on leave, funny how small a 4-bed house can feel with 3 adults and 2 dogs can feel sometimes :? Am glad of my little garden

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all. MrsC and her sis are doing an early morning Aldi and B and M shop.
I need a paper.
After that something in the garden like cleaning the patio. We've got that chilly wind as well though.
Have a good day all.

Change of plan.

We are going out!!!!! Out!!!!!

First time in almost 10 weeks!

We're going to go to Werton at Plaza Mayor then onto Carre Four.

It'll be interesting to see how this goes. I was going to wait another day or two but need to do it sometime......

I feel a bit giddy and slightly nervous .......and that's just the thought of driving for the first time in 3 months.

Good morning all, it’s sunny and warm here although we had a lot of rain overnight.

I’ve walked Bill and extended the walk along to the cemetery. I’d taken a pot of flowers for my Nan’s grave just before Mother’s Day in March so thought I’d better go and clear them off. Someone else had also put some flowers on, probably around that time, so I threw those away. Nan loved her garden, she was 94 when she died and was still gardening up until then (she won the council’s gardening contest when she was 88!) so it seems wrong to let her grave get untidy and it’s usually well tended by my Mom and two aunties but it couldn’t be helped. I’m going to recruit someone (Joe) to come and help me tidy it up properly later in the week.

Kaz, I know what you mean - except it’s four adults and one dog here  It’s not too bad, but Tom’s being a bit of a PITA towards us all but I think he’s at the point where he doesn’t want to be living at home anymore anyway and the rest of us are bearing the brunt.

Al, I hope your little trip out goes well x

Have a good day all!

Morning all

Ally, enjoy the day - looking forward to hearing all about it

It's going to be another lovely sunny day here today.... we have a 1pm Board call that's due to go on for a few hours. I'm 'hosting' the call so need to be within reach of my computer the entire time so will use the time to pot up my seedlings. I've got soooooo many (see what happens when you get over exuberant and end up sowing the entire packet of seeds vs just some  ). Anyway, I bought 100 bamboo biodegradable drinking cups off Amazon and will pot up my spares and then take them to the allotment. Quite a few people lost a lot of their stuff due to the frosts; we have many that just weren't able to get seeds and others who, due to current circumstances weren't able to do as much as they usually would. So given I'm still working and being paid, it's one small way I can help out someone hopefully.

In the meantime I'm baking bread and making a banana oat cake. Meant to be a banana loaf but I had too many bananas so doubled the quantity of everything and added some oats to the mix. Should come out quite tasty I think.

The bread is a mix of white and brown flour and I've added a good handful or two of various seeds to that one so another unknown; esp as it has chia seeds and I'm not sure how that'll work with moisture? Oh well, I'll soon find out

Have a lovely day everyone xxxxxx
