I'm never usually up early enough to start one o' these things, but here's an exception!
At least it will keep (the current total of) 65 spambots happily amused overnight …..

Good morning all.
It is dark, dry and cold. The only reason I can tell you the first two is because the street lighting hasn't gone off yet; that happens at 1:00 a.m. in these parts. The central heating has been on all evening.
Not a lot has happened today so far; well, since midnight - I've completed a few Microsoft Solitaire Network games, that's about it.
Breakfast will be served shortly. It will be a glass of milk and two (or possibly three) choccy bikkits. Then I'm hitting the sack.

Morning Ossie, morning everyone

Sunny morning, the birds are going bananas again and it will be another rather warm day

Molly has just come in, had breakfast and has hit the sack. I'm just about to do the watering, then back for coffee before heading outside to start the days weeding. Grumpy is going to vacuum the pool.

After breakfast, I'll do a couple of flower beds before it gets too hot, then back inside to do the prep for the bbq later. Cold rice, with chickpeas, onion and garlic and broad beans, with feta cheese. That's my cooking for the day as Grumpy is in charge of the bbq.

Morning everyone happy Sunday

Ossie, hope you managed to get some sleep
Jan, enjoy your day and BBQ, sounds a perfect day to me

I'm going to be doing more pootling in the garden this morning and then off to the allotment this afternoon to put in all the plants I have for there. Was meant to do it yesterday but it was just too windy and the allotments are very exposed. The poor plants wouldn't have had much chance of surviving being transplanted and then coping with wind that they're not used to. So I'll do it all today instead. I was going to go early this morning but Eli came in for breakfast limping and not putting much weight on one of his front paws. So I've closed the cat flaps and windows so he can't get out (he hasn't twigged out the principle of a cat flap yet - just as well). He's now zonked out in the lounge (I gave him some pain med) so I can monitor him for the morning at least. I think it's a sprain which will just need time and rest.

Other than that not much to report this end.

Morning! We have had rain. Or at least a little drizzle.
Roast beef for dinner, which is always good.
The Crofton Terror, little Eliza, has now decided she doesn't like Peppa Pig or the Teletubbies anymore so now I've got to record some Octonauts for her next visit. She was here yesterday, she was so funny. She does you good.

Good morning all, it’s quite dull and breezy here.

Me and John are taking Bill to Hednesford Hills shortly, Joe’s up and ready to go for a run and Tom’s going to meet Shannon later for a socially distant walk.

Not sure what else we’ll be doing, I want to start crocheting a small throw for in the downstairs living room but I’m back to not being able to concentrate on anything for very long.

Afternoon all

One minute sunny, the next cloudy and it's still a bit windy, not nearly as bad as yesterday though.

We've been extremely lazy and had a nice long lie in, only just finished brekkie/lunch. It's a bit too windy to sit out in the garden, so it's general pottering round the house. Roast chicken for dinner, followed by strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Afternoon all, it’s sunny and cloudy here and still breezy. I had an upset tum during the night, so slept very badly and I’m very tired. I went back to bed after breakfast for a couple of hours but only dozed, I’ll be going to bed early tonight as I head into a week of daily treatment. I just got Edward to get the summer duvet down from the attic and I’ll change the bed shortly. At 4pm we have a Zoom dance class, which is fun.

Afternoon all

It's sunny, if very breezy here today. We've had a leisurely day so far. Mick dropped B off at work, we then walked up to the garage for the papers. I made a fruity chicken curry for lunch, and there's an oaty rhubarb crumble in the oven for later.

Can't remember if I mentioned it, but Mick has been diagnosed with some food intolerances - the docs failed to get to the bottom of his foot and ankle swelling issues (although, to be fair, they sorted out his bad knee) and D mentioned that when he was a child certain foods seemed to upset him, so we forked out for food intolerance testing. It came back with dairy, wheat and eggs No huge surprise - Doreen is dairy intolerant, and his youngest brother Phil had what D called"Infant Coeliac Disease" although he grew out of it!

So I'm experimenting with alternatives He's switched to almond milk in his coffee, "free-from" wraps instead of bread, and I'm doing a LOT more cooking from scratch, as wheat flour, in particular, seems to be in almost everything Fun!!
