Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 29 May 2020, 05:16

Good morning.

Hot. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly. :D

Back for a swim and I'll stay there whilst my lady wot does is doing.

And when she's done I'm staying by the pool...coolest part of the garden.

We're going to order a Chinese meal delivery for dinner tonight and there's Peter Kay's Car Share. I've also got GB Sewing Bee on iplayer. Bliss.

Have a good day.

Morning >Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, cool breeze this morning. So much so, we had a lie-in 8-) Over slept

General pootling here today, I'm making a chilli and also a couple of flans. All to go in the freezer. Not a lot of proper cheese, so I'll be using sausages and mushrooms.

And - ta da - great excitement here. We're going out tonight :Hi: :Hi: Proper aht aht, not just aht. As Mickey thingy says. We changed the silly Saturday to a funny Friday night and we're going to Sonia's for a couple of beers and something to eat :Hi: :Hi: Will go to the chemist beforehand, as I have a text prescription for my new Glad bags :D I'll pick them up on Wednesday, when we next go out.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally! Ooh Car Share = Fab, but might need to watch on the player later as my sister just sent me a Zoom link to another family quiz night :D

Lovely and sunny and warm here, but I'll be slaving over a hot stove - Becky promised her workmates a cake for their coffee break tomorrow, and the plan was to make it this evening together, but now there's a quiz I'd better do the honours

Pepper is 100% better, her legs are strong again and her tests all came back fine. It might happen again, but then again it might not, so we take it as it comes....

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning you three, morning everyone

Kaz, I am so sorry - I must have missed what was wrong with Pepper :( Gentle fusses to her and so glad to hear she's better. Enjoy the baking
Ally enjoy the pool. Karl and Nadine are looking for one and because of the amazing weather we're having and everyone being home because of lock-down there isn't one to be had for love of money.
Jan, enjoy the dinner

Another usual / usual for me..... work and garden / house pootling. Going to finish off the replacement cat proofing in the front garden so Eli is allowed out there again and then this weekend I'll do the back; it's a much bigger job. Also more potting to be done; well I was meant to do it yesterday but didn't have the time.

8pm call with a friend tonight. She used to work in the travel industry and was made redundant so is now looking at other options. She's 40 years old, two young children and was working 2 days a week only - it's not going to be easy to find anything esp in current times so I suggested looking at virtual assistant so we'll have a chat about that.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, another lovely day here. Today’s treatment is at 14.30, which suits me as I can get stuff done this morning. Yesterday it was in the morning and I was so tired that after lunch I lay on the bed and slept for two hours  All very normal apparently. We’ll order in our dinner this evening.

Ally that's brilliant :Hi: :Hi:

Saundra, wow that's a huge price hike :(

Ria, I probably should have put a separate post on Pets, she had a recurrence of that spinal problem that she had a couple of years ago - fibrocartilaginous embolism - but just like last time she's recovering brilliantly. She's a tough little girl for a dog pushing 12 years old :)
