Morning all :D

Apart from being a tad windy it's very changeable here, one minute overcast, a 10min shower and now intermittent sunshine. Think we're in for more rain, but who knows........ :?

Oh how annoying for you Ria, sensible to make sure it can't happen again. Good news about your kitchen worktop.
I hope you don't have to wait too long for a place for you FIL Crommers.
I'm a big fan of Bosch Jo, their appliances perform well and are reliable.

Washing day here and the excitement of a Sainsbury delivery this afternoon, we certainly know how to live

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, I seem to have wasted a lot of time doing very little so far today  I drove Edward to the golf club just before 11am, with the intention of coming home and going for a walk. So I got home, and the washing machine had 20 minutes left, so I said I would wait for it to finish, so I could hang out the washing. Then I thought it was going to rain, so I waited. Finally hung it out and hey ho, there has been a little shower of rain. Now it is almost 1pm when I can phone in the order for our takeaway meal this evening, and I still haven’t been for a walk. Then it will be time for lunch........ The weather is very changeable, sun, cloud, windy and cool. On the plus side, yesterday we got a refund for the first of our cancelled cruises :D :D

Thank you all for the good wishes. It will get sorted soon hopefully. We have identified a place, they have vacancies and when things ease up a bit they will have a look and see if he is suitable for their establishment.
We have had several downpours today. At ten to four we had a cloudburst complete with hailstones!
That was my second big surprise in two days. The other one being yesterday when the child Eliza pulled my trousers and underpants down.
Honestly, that kid. Luckily there was only me and MrsC present.

It’s Indesit that I’ve bought. We had the first Indesit one in 2005 when we built our kitchen extension and only replaced that when we moved here in 2011 and not due to it being faulty, it was white and stainless steel looked nicer in the new kitchen

Kaz, I hadn’t realised that Kenwood made dishwashers until I looked yesterday.

LOL at Eliza, what a character

Fingers crossed that he’ll be suitable and settled in the new place before too long Crommers, it’ll take a lot of pressure off.

We’ve had lots of rain too, it’s lovely now but there’s a cool and strong breeze. I’ve planted out a tray of petunias though, and the Lily of the Valley bulbs I’d planted in the border and been disappointed with because they hadn’t done anything have appeared in a terracotta pot  I was convinced I’d planted them in a corner of a border!
