Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 07 Jun 2020, 05:03

Good morning.

Hot.

Going for a walk shortly. :D

Back for a swim then wait for Conor to rise and we'll have breakfast before he drives home.

Me, my book and a steady supply of cold drinks will be by the pool.

Have a good day.

Moring Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy and quite cool this morning

Pootling in the garden later, putting in new plants and moving others. Only a little weeding to be done and some cutting back. One day, this garden will be finished

Other than that, not doing a lot today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, the forecast from last night is wrong and it’s pouring down here again.

A long walk with John and Bill was planned for this morning but that doesn’t look like happening now unless the weather changes. I’ll probably crochet.

Joe’s off to see Amanda shortly. It’s her 19th birthday today. He’s bought her some running clothes, earrings, gin and some art equipment. We’ve got a Hobbycraft voucher for her. I really should post a photo of the sketch she did of Bill, she’s so talented.

Have a good day all :)

It's a tough life but someone has to do it Ally!
Jan I am in awe of your determination to beat your garden into submission! Jo, it's rained a lot overnight here and has just stopped.
Not much on here. We may have a run down to B and M for some compost and bird food; the birds are getting through it like nobody's business.
We also now have a blackbird's nest in the Salix in our back garden.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s dull and cool here. We have no plan but I think a walk will be had at some stage. Last week, I declared that tomorrow was the day I was going to hug Michael, Kellie and their Mummy, even I have to wear a mask to do so. This morning I got an email from Michael (he emails daily to see how we are), saying “Are you ready for hugs tomorrow?” I replied that I couldn’t wait and he then replied that he couldn’t wait either. So sweet from a 10 year old boy who would seem to disdain physical affection but comes for his hugs anyway.

Morning all :D

Bright, sunny and a little warmer 8-)

Grandson hugs, how lovely Osc. I'm very envious, it's going to be quite a while before I get mine.

Not much happening here, the raspberry jelly and blancmange is in the fridge ready for pud later. Roast chicken for dinner, what a surprise

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all :)

Ally, that sounds idyllic :D

Jan your garden certainly keeps you out of mischief ;)

Jo, happy birthday to Amanda :) xxx

Crommers, we've had a Greenfinch coming in to feed from our fat ball dispenser, such a pretty bird :)

Osc, that's lovely! :D xxx

Jen, we're having chicken too :)

Saundra, my rosebush took a battering in the week, but seems ok xxx

It's dry here today, but is clouding over after a sunny start. I went out early for a paper and some milk, then joined Mick in the garden. He mowed the lawn, while I weeded and tidied, then he repainted the decking and I pegged out a towel wash. Chicken tray bake with veg and fresh rosemary and basil from my pots cooking in the oven - it smells delicious :) We have some Ben &Jerry's in the freezer for pud.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone :) xx
