Mission accomplished :Hi: :Hi:

Pingo wasn't too bad, considering we have two national holidays coming up, managed to get everything in one trolley and then when we got home, found I'd forgotten to buy potatoes    We'll manage with what we've got and frozen stuff.

Bought some paint :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: and also ordered what should be the last of the gravel. Another 5 ton coming   The paint is for the store rooms Grumpy built and also for the pool wall, which is very grubby

The post office are still talking about what to do about our post, so it's just a wait and see.

Lovely and warm now, will be heading in the pool soon 8-)

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny here 8-)

It's a bit warmer today, but I don't think it's enough to sit out in the garden. Plan to give the house a blitz, it really needs a good clean.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it is overcast here today, but not cold. I hung out some washing, drove Edward to the golf club, I’ve changed the bed, asked for and collected books from the library and been to the post office. I’m waiting delivery of a new phone which I ordered on Friday and I see it is out for delivery so I hope I have not missed the postman. Upgrading from iPhone 6s Plus to an iPhone 11, really looking forward to getting the new one as my old one has been developing all sorts of annoying problems.

Had a lovely time with Miss Osc and the children yesterday, hugs were given and happily received and Miss Osc actually shed a tear after we hugged as we have not hugged since the day I had my surgery in March. Michael played table tennis with Edward, Kellie had great fun with the doll’s house and Miss Osc and I had a good chat. It felt good to do something normal.

Dull this afternoon after a sunny bright start - we talked about having a drive up to Alnmouth, but the weather there was worse than here, so we went for a walk round the village instead. Probably too long a walk for my ankle.....but never mind.

Been messaging my sister and Anne from Aquafit this afternoon - Anne has had a bout of shingles! She's the right side of it now but how odd that we're both not right at the same time?

I am interested to know what size duvet you have? As we have a double bed, I've always had a double duvet, but we've just got a new mattress and it's very deep, so I thought a king size duvet would cover and drape better.....of course it means changing all the duvet sets to king size too...….

Have a lovely evening xx

Well, FWIW we only have a double bed but I've often thought that a king-sized duvet would hang better  :?:

We have a double bed and a king size duvet. Same in Joe’s room on his double. There are double duvets on the single beds in Tom’s room and the spare bedroom.
They hang better and I find that in Winter you stay covered better seeing as there’s more duvet.

We have a kingsize bed with kingsize bedding, it always looks nice. Must admit I've never thought of having a larger duvet.
