Good morning Sunday.

Postby Ally » 14 Jun 2020, 05:06

Good morning.

Hot.

I'm one of life's early risers as I bounced awake the back of 6 despite getting home at 2.30am.

Had just the best day with the twins yesterday. Perfect. :D

Just a swim today then doing nothing but reading on the sunbed.

I've got Sewing Bee on iPlayer to watch this evening and Simon Reeve too.

Have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny and fresh morning. Will warm up later. The climate here, although hotter and colder than the Algarve, is much better at night. Much cooler, so better for sleeping 8-)

Done the watering and I'll do the cleaning after breakfast. Then doing a couple of dishes for the bbq later. One can be warmed up and one is cold.

Swim and reading is on the cards for this afternoon 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, hazy sunshine here and it is humid. Rain and thunder forecast for later though. Edward has gone across the road to chip golf balls around, I’ll tidy the kitchen and then have my shower. The main extent of today’s efforts will be putting washing in the machine, then taking it out again ;)

Your days sound good, Ally and Jan. That's enough to do on a Sunday Osc.
Good morning! Grey here but it might warm up later. It did yesterday, we had some scorchio sun late afternoon. We also heard some rumbles of thunder.
Eliza is coming here shortly so her mum can give the dog a good run and she can get some fresh air.
Beef for dinner and a lazy day after.
Have a good one everybody.

Good afternoon - quite sunny here at the moment.

Another day of furniture shifting in preparation for the resumption of painting tomorrow. Willie Shiftit is nothing on us!

Glad I didn't retire to the Iberian Peninsula - sounds way too exhausting ....

Good afternoon everybody.

Had a lot of lightning last night. It started between us and Southport. Then slowly drifted towards Preston. THere were flashes for over 15 minutes.
They light up the clods. Couldn't hear any thunder.
Have been to Morrison's again. Then back home for coffee before lunch.
There has been a small leak from the windscreen washer bottle in the car. So after lunch I have taken the bottle off the car. Found there is a small crack on the outlet pipe whic connects to the pump. Have put some Gorilla tape over the crack and hope this stops the leak.
Now just pootling.
