Can I just say I am fed up to the back teeth with this weather!!! Grey, grey, and more grey with a few hours of torrential rain just to spice things up! I want the sun and warmth back!!! (that said, we have just had a couple of hours of heat, the sun popped out and it was HOT!!)

OK, now I've got that off my chest...

Just had Amy over - not seen her on her own for a while, but her Tom is back to work now. He's bought her a horse for her birthday! Sheesh! My Tom was annoyed but now she's spoken to him I think he is less so. And she talked about their wedding, it does sound like they are perfect for each other :)

Have done very little today, went for a hobble round Hardwick Park, us and a zillion others (and it was very cloudy and grey then!) and then back to sit in the conservatory until Amy turned up and by then it was lovely out, I even did a bit of gardening!

Good news is - we're not returning to work tomorrow!! 8-) :D :D I found out on our FB work page that we were starting around July 1st - tbh I'd seen the notif last night just before I went to bed but was so worried it would be to say we would be starting back tomorrow I didn't want to read it - I lay awake all night trying to sleep and failing, partly because of my ankle and partly because of this. If only I'd just read it then - he's going to start bringing us back from July 1st, one or two of us possibly sooner, and in stages....I was so relieved! I think the strain must have showed as Tom and I have been a bit tense lately, we actually had a bit of a row yesterday which unsettled me a lot too.

Kaz that's interesting about your geraniums, I ordered some too - 5 in fact, but 3 of them look like they have 'taken' the other two not so much. I put them in May 27th, in smallish pots as they were delivered roots-on-show, just little bits of green at the mo. Not done this before so I didn't know what to expect, but for £15 for the 5 plus postage, I'm not sure I think they are value for money :(

I got dozens of plugs for £25, from crocusclub.com and very happy with the quality for that price.

Glad you didn't have to go back to work today! :) 8-) xxx

I've emailed the company I ordered from, just to tell them I hadn't been impressed with the quality of the three that haven't taken (I thought just two, but a tiny leaf has fallen off the third one!!)

I'll see what they have to say
