The idiots up in Lisbon have been doing the same And so they have extended the lockdown up there, but not for the rest of the country, as from July 1st. Still hearing about what measures we will have.

I was sure I’d posted earlier but thinking about it, that was yesterday

The main job today was to wash the sofa and armchair seat and back covers off the furniture in the downstairs living room. I was being a bit of a rebel because it said dry clean only on the label but they washed nicely and dried very quickly on the line, then came the fight to stuff the big and firm seat cushions back inside them in 31° heat There was a bit of swearing.

Jo, I've done that several times lately

My old three-piece suite had "dry clean only" covers, but I washed them loads of times I think they have to say that in case some eejits hot wash them I dry clean very little, most things are fine on a gentle wash

Manufacturers put labels on saying dry cleaning only so if you wash them you can't claim of the manufacturer's things are better washed loved my job in a launderette
