Morning Ally, morning everyone

Pleasantly fresh start to the day, but will get rather warm later 8-)

Off to Ourique soon, before breakfast, as I don't want Grumpy sat in the car when it0s too hot. He might, just might decide to come into Pingo when we get there, but that's entirely up to him. We have to go to the drogaria for stain and Nelson for salt, then the post office to put money on my phone, the Chinese for brackets and finally Pingo  As the chemist is next door, I'll get his inhalers too. Pit stop at the bar for a coffee and check for post.

Back to prep for dinner, which will be tuna salad for the next two nights. Far too hot to cook.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody

Much warmer than yesterday. The wind has stopped and the sun is trying to come through the clouds.
Trying to sort out our cruises for next year. We had three booked for this year. We had paid the full cost for one in May. This has been transferred to
one in May 2021 by the travel agent.
We should have gone on one in June and we are trying to make sure the credit voucher we have got from the cruise line has been transferred to
another cruise we have booked in August 2021.
We have a thirsd one booked in October and have not yet decided what to do about that one.

Have good day everybody.

Good morning. Not that warm here, quite overcast but dry.

The final day of painting, hopefully ... :Hi:

After that, a few days to recover our wits.

Enjoy your day, all! :D

Morning all

Ally, happy birthday to David for yesterday - enjoy the coffee and pitufo
Jan, hope you get everything you need; that's quite a list
Cruiser, fingers crossed you manage to sort that last cruise; but at least the other two sound like they're fine and good to go for next year?
Ossie, yay!!!! fingers crossed it all gets done by the end of the day

A very lazy start for me today. Up at 6am to let the chickens out and feed the cats (as per usual) but then I went back to bed for another hour and a half an only got up at 8 - much needed sleep. I have the day sort of unofficially off. It's very quiet for everyone so I've let them know I'm not monitoring emails all the time and if there's anything urgent for them to please call me. I'll have my work phone with me and also my personal one so can easily keep an eye on things; but I just need a day to try sort out this kitchen and get things back into cupboard; too much stuff all around - it's driving me mad. And recycling collection tomorrow morning so hopefully they'll take all the cardboard I'm going to be putting out. Flat pack kitchen = a LOT of cardboard :D :D But I've stacked it all up and taped it so it's easy to handle and no reason they shouldn't take it; they're usually really good like that.

So that's my day sorted - hopefully some pootling in the garden in between as well.

Have a lovely day all

x

Good morning. Grey and dull here, not July weather at all.
Eliza is here. Our daughter isn't sleeping well so hopefully their holiday to Northumberland will sort that out. They go on Friday.
I hope you get the kitchen sorted Ria! Bin day here too but household waste.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Have a good one Ally, happy birthday to David for yesterday :)

Hope you get all your bits and pieces sorted Jan 8-)

You too Cruiser, with the cruise stuff 8-)

You'll be glad that's finished Ossie :)

Ria I reckon they'll take it, and all the hassle will be SO worth it when everything is finally cleared away :D

Well I've done a very active Zumba session, hoovered and steamed the floors, and am now having a cuppa! I think I deserve it ;) Not much planned for the rest of the day.

Have a good afternoon everyone :) xx

Grumpy got an early birthday present. He wanted a bench sander, so we got him one in the drogaria

Everything takes so much longer than normal and we were gone almost 3 hours  So just had a very late breakfast/early lunch and now feel like a lie down   so that's what I'm going to do :Hi:

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny, wonder how long it will last, there are quite a lot of clouds overhead :?

Hope you get your cruise sorted Cruiser, always nice to have things to look forward to.
Ossie hope it's all finished today, as for your wits, I'm still looking for mine

No plans, it's not quite nice enough to sit out, but the garden does need a clear up so we'll probably potter out there at some time today.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
