Hi everyone, late today - I've had my sewing machine 'looked at' - great service, rang yesterday, he came to the house today and gave it a complete overhaul and all for £40! He was here a good 90 minutes and even left me some plastic spools and thread! :) After he left I had a shower and went out for another walk, just the next village this time, I went uuuuup….the views are stunning!! I didn't take any photos today, it's one I do a fair bit so nothing new but I hadn't done the up bit before....weather was dry but grey, raining a bit now but I only took my hoodie, mostly tied around my middle, especially o=for the uuuups ;)

I'm shaking like a leaf and have the runs atm (sorry) and all because I am back to work tomorrow  :( Thankfully it's only tomorrow and then I'm off again (holiday) but there's too much for me to worry about, it's no wonder my BP won't drop (forgot to mention, you know when I went to the Drs last week about my ankle, they did a BP check and it was up, so I'm doing a reading twice a day for a week, it doesn't make a good week!). New shop - good, but other people have transferred everything so we won't have a clue where everything is, I don't even have a key yet!! New covid stuff - mostly the same as we were doing just before we closed, sanitizing everything, but we now have masks and gloves and a plastic screen blah blah....this will be the first time I have stayed inside a building for longer than about 25 minutes since lockdown and I'm bricking it. Also new, due to covid, new ways of dealing with customers/clients (no longer patients) to reduce contact and also give people plenty of our time. And - no radio anymore, classical all the way  Aids spending apparently.

Right, sausages grilling so I'm off to check them >>>>>>>>

((Hugs)) Gal. I'm sure you will be fine - and remember; the clients are probably as worried as you are.

and most important! remember that if you don't feel safe and that the required precautions have been taken, you have every right to go home. xxx

And finally; as someone who could really do with an eye test, may I say thank you to you, your colleagues and all those who are opening up businesses so life can try return to normal xxx

Thanks all x

It went...……….ok. I'm not going to say 'well', just ok. I wore a face mask all day, as did Yvonne, and you have to wear single use gloves for each patient, putting them on and removing them so they can see you're doing it, and handling the frames. A face shield if you want to (I didn't yesterday, but may in future). We have no radio any more, rather 'ambient classical music' - think hotel foyer type thing, controlled by an ipad that we've been shown how to use. It's certainly a different experience compared to pre-Covid!! Thankfully I'm now on holiday until 21st, so relieved!!! :D
