Good Morning Sunday

Morning everyone

Another hot day although lovely and fresh at the moment 8-)

Any news on your fil Crommers? Is he off soon?

We're off to our Ourique later, to stock up on water and beer. we're going through rather a lot of water at the moment  beer too, as we're not going down the bar - too hot  Sitting under an awning doesn't really keep you cool.

Back to cobwebbing the terraces - we have the most enormous spiders and daddy longleg things

I also have some ironing to do, little and often is best at the moment.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan :)

Oh yikes, spiders? Do you get really big ones there? Spiders *Shudder* Ironing *Also Shudder* ;) :cute:

It's weird weather for July, very windy and plenty of cloud, chilly too :? We have an invite for later, to go round to Em's for a cuppa and cake in the garden - had better check if that's still on. Otherwise a lazy day planned, lamb and veg for dinner 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Godd morning everybody,

In the last half hour we have had heavy rain, clear blue skies and trong winds. Managed to dodge the showers going for the paper.

Just pootling again today

We have taken the covid swab Jan, and sent it off. Now we wait for the result. If it comes back negative then the home will take him immediately. He might become a bit emotional about it but the current situation can't go on. We're hoping that the test doesn't come back "inconclusive" as it is £99 a go (ordered online from Lloyd's chemist). We should get the email tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. Fingers crossed.
Strange weather indeed Kaz, for July. Well done on dodgimg the rain Cruiser.
Sunny and very windy here but it is supposed to bate this afternoon.
Nothing doing here but we have chicken for dinner, which is always good.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Contrary weather here, one minute sunny the next overcast, oh and it's windy too :?

Eek spiders Jan, shudder, shudder.
Fingers tightly crossed the result comes back negative and you can get FIL settled in the CH Crommers.

Another lazy day, it's roast chicken with salad for dinner, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, mixed weather here and very windy. We went for a walk this morning and had a few spots of rain, but it is lovely and sunny now. The pub next door has opened a deli, we bought some nice chicken rolls there for our lunch, and a couple of scones. Not doing anything for the rest of the day except taking the washing in from the line, and changing the towels - there’s a book needs reading ;)

My daughter is on holiday in Northumberland. Today they have been to Bamburgh castle and beach. By the looks it has been very windy but sunny. Eliza has paddled in the sea (and threw a strop when she had to come out, the little madam!) and Dobby is in doggy heaven. A beautiful wide beach and no one but them on it. Loads of fresh air and no stress; it will do the whole family good. :)
